Mario kart would be better if it has a Customize track option

i really hope someone wants to make a Rom hack for that

Mariokart Ds is better for many reasons.

...but Trackmania has good track editor to make some wild stunts!

I've spent a huge amount of time on TMDS already (unlocked all the tracks, bought almost everything) and I still have tons to do. Even when I complete it 100% I have the level editor to mess with, which is amazing. Mario Kart DS was great when it came out, but it got old fast. Snaking was fun, but there just wasn't enough to do after 100% completion. WiFi was really boring IMO, and outside of the Grand Prix, there wasn't much to do.
I think that you guys are forgetting DKR, which would have been SO much better if it wasn't for the stupid touch things before each race.

This game is like N+

It holds your hand at the beginning, then starts slapping you because you fucked up. But you come back for more...

Am I the only one who feels like N+, Bangai-O-Spirits, and Trackmania have a ton in common? All have level editor that can be used to create the levels in campaign, they all have really short levels, and they all make you perfect how to beat each level before beating it.

Idk, it just really stuck out to me when I downloaded Trackmania

You cant compare Mario Kart and Trackmania.. For one, Mario Kart is basically a DS classic, 2 Trackmania is a Time Trial type game where you have to have perfect steering around the course..

IMO I love both but Trackmania is superior.. It would be even better with wifi

Any game with as big as wifi community as mario kart will ALWAYS be #1 in my view. Still love the trackmania series though.

Offtopic: CANT WAIT FOR KINGDOM HEARTS AND PHANTASY STAR DS!

trackmania is listed as not even having WFC?! don't get the comparison.. if it had WFC i'd play. Local DSDS wifi only is nearly useless unless you're 12.

Or if you have friends...
lol

I have plenty of friends who like trackmania, but it still doesn't compare with joining a room of 50+ people on wifi...

Though I don't think the DS could cope with that many people

- even my computer has trouble.

Exactly, I'm 27 and I play local wireless all the time, I can think of 12 friends off the top of my head that have DS's, plus my girlfriend who I live with.

Anyone know what the controls are?
Like I thought you can perform tricks in this game.
Building a track is kind of hard...

You seem to have added an extra zero there.

In TM for PC it is (or at least, was) fairly common to see rooms with 50+ people (even 150) though it usually got a tad laggy...
