The IR function integrated into flashcarts doesn't seem very useful?
Can't TWiLightMenu++ also use the IR function of official game cartridges?
For example:
- on a DSi, run TWiLightMenu++ from the SD card and insert a DS cartridge;
- on an NDS/NDSL, run TWiLightMenu++ from a GBA cartridge and insert a DS cartridge?(Is that so? I don’t have an NDS/NDSL)

I'm hoping for the model that fits perfectly into the card slot as I like to carry my New2DS in a case and that would be the only DS card I would ever need from then on, plus 8MB is already helping a lot. But I have a feeling that many others want the full 32MB...

It appears that the Cortex M33 core inside of that SoC its actually more powerful than the ARM9 core on the DSi
