According to support at M3 forums Sakura 1.47x has been modified to support Warioware DIY. The download of 4.8x should also have been updated.

Hmmm...sounds interesting. I really don't want to have to go ALL the way through the game making tutorials and not have it save again.

I'll test it in a bit, though.

Shin Megami Tensei works as well. I still had an issue with the intro freezing, but I remembered that TWEWY had similar problems. So I tried to close my DS a split second before the freezing scene and that worked! So if you have the same problem and want to see the whole intro, just close your DS in time, wait a sec and reopen it.

Still, can anybody confirm if there are problems with random encounters in SMT:SJ?

Warioware doesn't save on 4.8x. try turn the game off and on
if it really works then they might have updated the firmware again without telling

update: seems like Touchpod 4.8x has really been updated without telling...the previous file date were 3/24...now if you d/l it again now they became 3/26/2010

Also, the Sakura 1.47 on gbalpha.cn dated 2010-3-27 is a bit more recent than the version on handheldsources.

by the way, WarioWare only takes like 10 seconds to create the save file in Sakura, while it takes minutes in Touchpod

Just tried this with my G6 Real. Formatted the card, tried Wario Ware - bugger crashed as usual. Tried Rooms - got past the tutorial but black screened after the first level..

Havent tried Soul Silver yet, just going to buy that, but this is the worst firmware update ever - nothing bloody works!

Am going to order an Acecard tommorw as even my old R4 runs more games with less hassles than this card has. The G6 is the worse flashcard I have ever used...

Did you download the NEW touchpod? They secretly changed the 4.8 file.

as far as i know did they update secretly without changing the fw number so you should dl the same fw again if you downloaded before 3/27

I dunno anything about loading it in certain modes, I just load my M3 Real and try loading WarioWare DIY without an old save file on the new ninja-update version and I still keep getting some kind of "Save file format error." thing

Make sure there is no save at all for DIY on your micosd.

With the newest M3 Sakura WaioWare DIY is working great for me. According to M3i forums there might have problems with WiFi features, so I guess there won't be connection with the Wiiware Wario Ware channel, but I might test it later to see what happens.

Hmm...I'm still able to soft-reset during the black screen though...

HGSS still freezes rarely (more so for a select few people).

I, myself, have yet to experience a freeze.

I would suggest turning off soft reset, cheats, and rts to possibly decrease freezing. You could also try Rudolph's universal patch.

It won't freeze if you've patched it.
