hi everyone. i just bought my nintendo ds lite, im enjoying it so far, but i have one minor concern...

its not a major problem, but i was wondering if anybody else is experiencing the same thing:

the bottom screen seems to be not as bright or clear as the top... its marginal difference but its there. like when you start up the unit, the top screen is a lot 'whiter'...

are nintendo using different screens or something?

You probably have the top screen at an angle.
Its best if the screen doesn't look "whiter" because that just means its really washed out.
You won't see all the colours the way you're supposed to see them that way.

And yes, they have the touch screen on top of the LCD of the bottom screen, which might explain it.

prolly cause of tht nifty screen protector you put on

(if you did

...if you didn't, do.)

Yar, I cant live without a screen protector on my handhelds. I dont even take a system out of the box if I dont have them, otherwise its a waste to put them on (especially with the DS because ur technically scratching the scree every time u use it.

I didn't put a screen protector on my DS until I got Elite Beat Agents. After a few plays, I was convinced I needed one. Dang spinners.

It's one of those things with lites. My bottom screen seems to be yellow slightly (I've got a crimson one). My bottom screen also has an inconsistent stuck pixel

(The pixel gets stuck, then unstuck some time, then stuck again etc.etc.)

yeah i have a screen protector on its way.
jerro, thats what i am finding. its kind of yellow, tiny bit. you only really notice it when it is white.
so this is a normal thing?

Thats just a dead pixel by the sounds of it. It's reasonably normal. Unless theres like 10 dead pixels or something like that, Nintendo will have no reason to replace it, and neither should you.
