Hello all!

New Joy-Con Toolkit v1.5 is up!
Many new things come with it. Check the changelog!

Also I can't stress enough what problems can create if you choose to change S/N and lose it.

Lastly, I added an Easter Egg! Can you find it?

It would be cool to see an update where if Nintendo finds makes new colors, the OP would release a text file having all the joy-cons colors so you could import them instead of a new update, you could even use the text file so you can send someone a text file with colors that go good together. Of course, we should make a Joy-Con color sharing thread, kinda how BootCTR9, BootAnim9 has a thread for boot animations.

The functionality is already there. New colored Joy-Con? I release a new config file.
The config is sharable also.
If you want to add, instead of replacing, colors from another user, open it with notepad (no need for utf8 editor), and copy paste the values.
Remember that the number of colors for every member in the config file must be maximum 16.

Found the easter egg (by accident) haha. Not gonna tell anyone what/where it is tho!
Still not completely sure what I did to activate it tbh
Good job! This maybe become a full fledged feature some time..

EDIT:
BTW, the easter egg is not the Change S/N feature. Which is somewhat hidden also, but more visible.

Sweet Easter Egg.
Random question, does the tool really have to use unsafe? :x
Other than that, should be easy to split it into multiple files. Most of the functions looking good and small. Props for that! :)

He he, actually no. But I never really bothered :D. I shouldn't have used the cursed sprintf at all. For example some other logic I did it normally from the start.

Right now the code is 2 big blobs and indeed can be spitted easily.
You are welcome to contribute to my hacky code, because in this week I plan to open source it.

EDIT:
So indeed I had some wrong array initializations. For now changed to sprintf_s and fixed them.
Next are the safe_casts

So...... Actually read the error code and download the missing dll file?

Nobody went off-topic. All prior discussion was about this tool.

Install the .NET framework that the original post said to install and it should work.

So...... Actually read the error code and download the missing dll file?
I'd recommend staying away from downloading individual DLL files. Download the package it's part of from the official source whenever possible.

Check prerequisites in OP.
And the warnings and the changelog disclaimers

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

That's never a good idea.. If the proper installer for these exist.
