ROM Hack Tomodachi Collection English Patch cheats not working

I was playing Tomodachi Collection "English patch" V0.80 by jjjewel. Every time I used cheats it gave me a white screen what should i do?

I used the Japanese version of the from and used the save file and used the cheats there lol
