I just tried and now the game crashes on startup. What I did was :
- extract the files within the NSP using Yuzu ;
- patch the individual files as explained (I used the fat32 patch for the 000_map file) ;
- copy the patched files in atmosphere/contents/0100A9400C9C2000/romfs on the SD card.
I only put the patched files in there, I saw no point in copying the unpatched files as well, if that helps.
You need to re-do everything as an .nsp basically the whole game again with the patch, it's tedious but it's the only way (unless someone already did it and share the game already patched, which here is not allowed but outside pages yes)

Actually, the way Ligeia did it should (with tweaking) work, as far as I know. Yes, you can also make your own NSP, but you should be able to use this like a mod with LayeredFS as well.
@Ligeia What version/branch of Yuzu did you use? What versions of Atmosphere, Horizon, etc.? I just downloaded a copy of Eden on my laptop so I am going to try and get this working on my Switch OLED as a mod.

Did you install the pack? Because someone else got it working without any problems. Either the problem is with the location, or it's the map.cpk file. Try deleting it. But if the map patch was applied, then there shouldn't be any problem.

If the game doesn't work as a mod on an emulator, then it won't work on real hardware, and recreating the NSP file won't help. I already tried it before; I installed something incorrectly, thinking it would work, but it didn't—the game wouldn't even open.

I got yuzu 1734 (2024.03.04)
My Switch firmware is v21.1.0 and Atmosphere is v1.10.1
I used Delta Patcher 3.1.6
My game release is Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore NSW-CAF [0100A9400C9C2000]
I did put the patched files in 0100A9400C9C2000\romfs\Pack, what do you mean by "did you install the pack please ? I patched the files as intructed and just copied them there, did I miss a step ?

Well, based on what I know, there are three possibilities: First, the files must be in this location: 0100A9400C9C2000\romfs\Pack. Second, the map file might not be working. I couldn't give you a reason because I tested it and it works; in fact, it always does, even the FAT32 version, which is just the compressed file, reduced from 6 to 3GB. Third, it could be your console's mod configuration, and well, I can't help you with that.

And finally, you can rebuild your ROM, although I stopped using that method of patching the ROM because it's annoying, and just to update a small file I'd have to rebuild my ROM again.
I'll soon release an update that unlocks the swimsuit DLC, but of course, if you have a modified ROM, I'd have to rebuild it again, replacing the updated CPK files.

Besides, you're the first one to say you have that problem. Well, at least there's no one else besides the guy who contacted me, and his problem was that his ROM was 1 MB different, and the patch said it was a different file.
