I played a little of the Japanese release (can't rem what it was called) and it seemed pretty fun. But I'm waiting on an English release so I can read what the people are saying.

I played the Japanese version for a while until I heard it was getting released in the west, it's a pretty cool game not much else like it on the DS.
I take it no one has it, by fair means or foul, I thought it was supposed to be out in the states on the 31/3/09.

I've been watching the Gamestop website for signs that it actually hit stores. Apparently, they sent those from the warehouse via rickshaw. They had it saying "ships within 24 hours" for like 2 days now. So that should mean it's on its way.

In case someone might not know, when you select a game a Gamestop's site, you can put in your zip code to see which stores have it......none in a 100 mile radius of me seem to have it yet.

Figures that this game would be slow getting into stores.....it's one I actually want. Freakin' annoying! It ALWAYS works out that way for me it seems.

Yeah, yeah, I know the game isn't all that to you younger peeps, but old-school people like me live on these kinds of games. It makes me want to do a "beat down" on whoever decided to ship it "someday delivery"....or whatever slow-ass method they apparently used.

It's currently one of my most-anticipated games. I did try some of the Japanese version, and I have to admit it was a little too old school for its own good, but I think it'll still be fun. Campiness + Streets of Rage = worth putting on my card.

Putting the (J) rom on my card. Can't wait to play this game. Need my beat'em up fix. Someone said on the Gamefaqs board they ordered from Amazon and got it today so I'm thinking it should be in stores soon.

I love old school brawlers, but I thought the controls were pretty bad in this one, which is a death sentence for games like this.

This is getting annoying. Supposedly the game was released March 31 in USA, but here it is April 6 and still no stores have it. WTF?!

Yeah, competition for retail space is getting fierce. Though I wouldn't necessarily expect this game to show up on Walmart store shelves, they recently changed their policy on turn around time for video games. Not sure what Altus' plan is for this game, but they probably have very limited options with respect to who will sell their games...which will likely leave them with Amazon and other online sellers.
