Just noticed: in binary, today is 39 in binary, this doesn't happen very often (18 times every 10 years):
100111 in binary is the number 39. (as in: the 10th of January 2011) (btw just realised, this the the UK rule not USA (in USA today would be 27))
Other dates this year:
01/01/11 = 23
10/01/11 = 39
11/01/11 = 55
01/10/11 = 27
10/10/11 = 43
11/10/11 = 59
01/11/11 = 31
10/11/11 = 47
11/11/11 = 63
and just because i have lots of free time:
if you add all the values (23 + 39 + 55...) you get 387 which, in binary, is 110000011 which is palindromic
