Gaming TM17 Cheat Freezes Pokemon Diamond w/ Cyclo?

Whenever I use the TM17 Cheat from the Massive Cheat Compilation Sticky (under "random Cheats" - "turn TM17 into any move including volt tackle and roar of time") it just freezes my CycloEvolution. Is anyone else having this problem?? I've only tried it in the Pokemon Diamond game so far, not Pokemon Pearl.
