I played one of the Japanese version one night quite a while back (a random scan through OLL responsible) and it was fairly pointless but as far as generic licensed anime games based on bad anime shows go this was a reasonably good one.

Joke right? More like props to Atlus for not putting a crappy throwaway game like this on the DS and cluttering its library further with horrible movie/anime quick jobs.

In the craze and success of anime recently on television sometimes companies bring over things that really should have never been localized. Battle B-Daman being one of them, I get into corny shows that most people find bad, it's just a weird quirk of mine, I liked Metabots, so one could tell I'm certainly a person willing to go out on a limb, just didn't like it.

Sadly, the same can be said for the game. The concept was not one that was even initially all that much fun, and the lack of strength in concept really transfers here.

I like Atlus as much as the next person (they do great work with games that otherwise would never see the light of day over here), but I've got to dump on this choice.
