all i know is that they are helping with making Yandere Simulator and that's about it lol

Lets just hope it wont cause another video game krash
Remember? During 2nd, there was too much games and not enough games quality
Iirc, nintendo countered this by maximising the amout of game a company could release in a year on their console
Is this rule out of date now?

Speedrunners?
naw I doubt it, but who knows.

It's prolly their more successful ones, Like no time to explain, Cluster truck, maybe hello neighbor(but please no on this one.)

It would be nice to release some physical copies..... SO that way it does not feel worthless when i buy digital.....

lol they make indie games, digital only games without 3d mostly, also that rule was a complete stupidity becuase companys like akkclaim and other bought other studios and released the game in someone else's game studio and so on, it was the easiest thing possible to evade, jsut make a new studio even if name only and launch games on their name, several companys did that with phantom studios.

anyway they release e shop only games with sprites most of the time, those type of games you wont pay more than 20$ for them.

Nintendo also has an approval process as well to ensure that their market doesn't get saturated with crap. And its clearly been stricter for the Switch than it has been in recent years, just compare the amount of shovelware in the wiiware shop compared to the overall quality of the bulk of the indie titles on the Switch's eshop. There is clearly some added quality control on Nintendo's end here to ensure their eshop doesn't get filled with crap. As such I don't think Nintendo needs to restrict how many games any dev puts out a year just so long as each game is of a certain quality and they'll be allowed to be published for the system.
