Hi there,

I currently have a DS and a DS Lite but am considering a DSi in the near future. I currently us a R4DS (genuine) but i am looking for a better card.

I would like one that is:

* Nintendo DSi Compatible and DS Lite Compatible
* Fast easy menu
* Ez 3in1 compatible on DS Lite
* around 50 USD
* Upgradeable

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Well, I'd probably recommend either the EZFlash Vi or the Supercard DSONEi.
The EZVi has a faster menu, but the SCDSONEi has a way to "upgrade" itself (read: update) to bypass the latest firmware updates.
They're both compatible with DSi/DS Lite, and they both are able to support the EZ 3in1.
They're both less than $30 on DX.

see my video review, its on the thread a few below this one. You can get a good look at it there...

I'd personally recommend the acekard2i or itouch2. they dont have moonshell built into their firmware, but they're very stable with great features. They should both be able to update to bypass the newest firmware updates as well. (you just need to do it from a DS or DSlite if you already updated your DSi).

Also, team cyclo may be announcing something soon...which is something I am keeping my eyes glued for.

So it's basically between Acekard2i and Supercard DSONEi. Seeing as it could be 6 months before I buy a DSi the Supercard really has me there. But as i'm regularly using my ds, a slow menu would really bug me. Will future updates to the Supercard DSONEi adress this?

slow menu? hmmmm.. maybe and maybe not

this issue has been long address that depends on the team wish to do it or not

Actually both cards are decent! at the end of the day is up2you to buy whichever card
asking me? i will say ak2i... is solid and cheap

Price wise they are mere dollars different but I would like something that is future proofed. If the supercard is likley to be updated then I will go with that.

I was reading on another post that some Acekard's broke after a few days, is this true?

i'd had never ask Normmatt about the HW81 version of ak2i
apparently from what i read it can be updateable

otherwise, how those people fix their language problem on ak2i

BROKE? i will just say bad luck~! i have been using my ak2i heavily since january
so far so good * touch wood *

Supercard has slow support but they have had updates for their first devices since forever. You'll be in good hands with the DSONEi.
As for the AK2i, didn't Acekard mention that if the exploit was blocked, they wouldn't release an updater to use a different exploit? I'm not counting the language fix.
