    it should work. I'm not sure about buying a micro sd with adapter. I've read of some people encountering issues doing that. it would be cheaper to buy a full sd card anyway. I have a 256GB card in my wii u.

    Buying a U3 SD is completely useless for the Wii U, not only because there is pretty much no use for it (no games are installed on the SD, except if you use loadiine... But in this case loading times aren't your priority), but also because iirc the Wii U doesn't use UHS. Except if you plan on using this card on another device in the future, it would in my opinion be better to either invest in a larger SD (if you will be using loadiine), or a cheaper one.
