Dude, I have ALL of my electronics hooked up to CyberPower UPS's. And yep, I've endeed up buying batteries for several of them as I've had them for a long time. Batteries are the PERFECT SOLUTION for these things, they last forever. I love it when I'm watching a movie or playing a game and whatnot, and the power goes out for even just a few minutes. Everything is off except my TV, my home receiver unit and my blu-ray/gaming console. It's always freaky when that happens when everything else has been shut off by the surge. I recommend to ANYONE in these forums to get them, they will protect your electronics for ages to come.

i've got two of these things in my bedroom, two in my office, two in my dining room (we have a Yamaha digital piano in there), and two in my living room. Worth every penny.
So, fun fact. My great uncle was a baseball player. He played with Mickey Mantle, was a part of the 50s dynasty Yankees, and went on to be a coach on the Oakland As. I love baseball, and it's a big part of my life. I like collecting jerseys of players and displaying them.
The one I got today is pretty special. It's my uncle's jersey!
