I got myself sleep phones... I had some knockoffs before... But they ran out of batteries. This time no bluetooth.

I also pretty recently got edge scissors for my lawn (not sure what you guys call it)... I need to cut the grass along my fence and a trimmer is just gonna break and before that need new thread every other usage.

I'm very much looking at things that are hard to break at this point. I hate planned obsolescence, I think there should be a law, if your garbage product breaks within 10 years, that's on the company that made it.

Nothing exciting, I just bought Mr Fantastic Star Fox 64 for the Switch 2 as I really fancy playing a Star Fox game and got a physical copy for £36.

one of the more expensive things i bought in a while. 2 pounds of "Morchella elata" aka "Spitzmorchel" in germany. Got a good deal on two pounds of dried broken pieces and went for it immediately.
these are so good in cream sauce, no joke. IYKYK

on amazon the cheapest offer is 12.99€ for 28.53gr.
thats 455€ for a kilogram, the amount i bought for like 120 something euro.
see what i mean?
higher initial investment, true, but much more product, better in the long run.

Got it 20 euro cheaper because it was a Amazon returns item.

I found a phone stand for just 2 EUR branded as "Elta Germany". Turns out it works super well as a Switch holder with a little space to route a USB cable through!

The reason I'm so happy it ended up working well was that I previously got a Hori PlayStand for 10 EUR or so, considering that I was in a hurry, and all the stands I already had were all too narrow for the Switch to fit. Turns out that it was not only a really bad deal (oh really?), but this is much less janky too!

Granted, it's a bit wobbly, but I'm confident that if it ever starts sagging, I'd notice before gravity kicks in for real, if you catch my drift

Just a fair warning since I see you have a Redragon keyboard; Redragon (and seemingly Royal Kludge, looks like they're operated by the same company) has been generally unreliable in my experience. I've had a keyboard start doing a high-pitched whine a few years in, and now I have a keyboard (granted, with fancy, possibly experimental clear switches) that frequently misses inputs after just a year of use.

I'd also like to talk about the mouse, but I have very little experience with ASUS, so I hope you enjoy it! At least it isn't Razer... a recent DeathAdder revision literally stopped working correctly just a month in for me.

Thanks for your reply, I did not know about those issues. I got this redragon keyboard mosly for the looks.
For its works very well, for gaming i'm a controller to play games on my pc.

Well, the latter keyboard I didn't use for gaming much at all, with heavier use it probably would have gone unreliable even sooner...! But again, it's possible that's only the case of their custom clear switches in particular being bad.

I guess I'll have to look harder for a more reliable clear keyboard. They look astonishing with a "ripple" effect set to a static blue colour, almost like a little aquarium. Too bad any other brand offers them for at least 90 EUR or so, and some of them are merely TKL, when I'm aiming for a little narrower. Oh well.

My mum keeps buying solar ornaments, I'm sure everyone in the UK has probably seen them. Various animals with the worlds smallest solar panel, holding an led light. Well, to go along with the world smallest solar panel, they also have the worlds smallest battery, so they even if they get a full charge in the UK, they barely stay on.

So of course I have to sort it. Bigger ones do have room for a "full size" AA, which is actually a tiny battery in an AA shell, but you can just swap to a standard capacity rechargable. Smaller ones, have no room, so external battery box it is.

Worlds smallest solar panel will not charge a full capacity AA anywhere near full, so every week or so you have to charge it manually, but she can manage that and at least they actually work and stay lit. Can't find a weather proof single AA box, for some reason they don't come in that size, so will just jump the empty slot with a wire or dummy cell.

I finally started setting up that small, six-foot walk-in closet into my PC gaming/office room after saying I was going to do it for the past year and a half. All I have left to do is take out a bunch of old shoes and stuff that belongs to my sister and organize it.

So, I ended up ordering a mesh Mimoglad office desk chair from Amazon in moon gray and a set of five silver chair casters, the ones that kind of look like rollerblading wheels. I have the same kind of chair and similar casters on it in my hobby shed. They come Saturday with the cat litter I ordered.

The online hobby store I buy from is currently having its 9th-anniversary sale, and the thinner I use is currently buy-one-get-one-free. So, I ordered four 500ml bottles (two paid for and two free) and two 500ml bottles of airbrush cleaner (one paid for and one free). They had a lot of stuff on sale, but I didn't really need/want anything else but I might buy some paints.
