A month later and after multiple heat waves finally arrived, I used it a little bit and it wasnt bad, wish the arms were a little longer. Its only like 70-80F here atm so have to wait for some higher heat to put it through its paces. If not at least you can use it in the winter too.

Ordered these AAA batteries with a built in USB-C charger:
https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8596066

They're only 500mah, but these will be handy for when travelling e.g. Fire Stick remotes and my Bose headphones.....or when I'm just lazy and can't be arsed going upstairs to use my mains charger.

I also plan on picking up the AA versions if they come into stock.

That sucks, hopefully it arrives tomorrow or Monday for you. Lucky that I live around 8 hours from the shipping location.
I really doubt it because it says under the special handling section, "delivery weekdays only" and "no signature required." Plus, Monday is a holiday where I live. So it's supposed to be delivered on Tuesday between 11 am and 3 pm, and if it hasn't come before 1 pm, I'll probably have to miss work because I'm alone at home for the next month and will probably get stolen

I hear ya. Stolen packages are common where I live too. I usually have FedEx drop it off at a drop-off location for important stuff.

I recently got hold of these for virtually free! Availability of these is pretty spotty, so I'm happy I managed to find both available simultaneously.

Help me, I'm addicted to Platinum Points now. :ohnoes:

Update: I did a bit of work to fight the addiction.

Got an aluminum baseball bat, and I reshelled (not sure if that's the correct word) my PC. It's definitely smaller than my other case, even though I do like it. It was just too big for where I have it now. I'll definitely keep it. For next time, I want to build a pretty big PC or something. I originally bought it because I wanted to do a custom water-cooled loop, but never ended up doing it.

Using the wrong phone, but I picked up a Samsung 990 EVO Plus 4TB NVME for $315+ tax… kinda sad that’s something I can celebrate these days.
AI sucks. We all say we don't use it but hey guess what? The moment you do a search on Google? Gemini gives you an overview of the best search results.

Weird story on my side...
I recently bought Metal gear Collection Vol.1 on the eshop and discovered that if you download some additional content like the pack with japanese language( actually it's not even about language/voice, it's the japanese version of each game, I though it was just the audio but no and it's useless to me now) ...then you cannot delete them anymore, they are chained to your virtual cartridge, YOU CANNOT REMOVE THIS CONTENT! IT's not on the eshop itself , it's an in game download so you cannot forbid the download when you re- install it like some other content or delete it separately...
There is no option to do that and in the the main menu of the game it's grey after you choose to download it the first time so really no turning back....
I waste space on my express Card just because of that, I tried contacting Nintendo about this many weeks ago and they didn't even answer me...

Who else among you is still wrestling with the agonizing idea of buying a NeoGeo AES Plus? All reason tells me no, but ever since the announcement, something inside me has been fighting to order it. Hopefully I won't end up giving in after all.

I did a little lateral thinking online with an ebay buy that showed up the other day, along with a few small fun gains locally along with a repair+refurbishment that turned out well too.

The 4 handheld games there were 120 online, if you know the NGPC games, a steal as is. I didn't like the prices of those, so I made a bundle with the intent of minimally selling my non-NFRs of those off, but one of them wasn't to my standard (WW.) I kept the 2 NGPCs and SMB NFR, sold my Mario 3 for 15, that WW NFR for 40, after fees I got 3 solid games for 80 which is a massive win. The walkman was working but not(tape) did reserach, got the belt needed, did a good cleaning/servicing semi-blindly then bought 2 local tapes for 4 and got it working for notably less than buying a refurbed one online and to me that's more rewarding and not just on savings but the doing. Frogger was a $4 pickup, Tetris2 was $5 and I had a manual already. The mini arcade had 2 modern mattel handhelds for a dollar less ea, selling them to cover my costs on the rest as I love to break even if I can from that day.
