I installed my FlippyDrive and a battery holder into my GameCube, and also fully recapped my OG Xbox this weekend.

Glad I won't have to do the latter again for a good long while, that was tedious, but two of the caps were already bulging so this was needed.

Just curious, did you buy a specific capacitor kit, individual caps or just some cheap kit off eBay, etc?

I believe one of mine has failing caps on the PSU.

I got a kit for my specific version from console5.com. They're pretty much the best source of specific cap kits for nearly every console, old computer, or similar sort of device. They also carry a bunch of other related stuff like fitting belt drives or what have you.
All caps are also high quality and only from reputable brands, and they have lists for which cap goes into what place since some have slightly different values (but are still fully compatible).

My 80GB NTSC CECHE phat model PS3 on OFW 4.91 got installed with Evilnat CFW. I went and took the time to go through the USB insertion, turning off certain update-related settings, and did whatever else was needed for the installation. Now, to find out how REBUG works with CFW'd PS3s, as well as what steps should be taken regarding the syscalls and PSN. Hmmm...

Happened a while back but had to buy a YLOD PS3 to fix my sister's backward compatible PS3 so she could sell it.

Blu-Ray that was in it refused to read CD and DVD's. Had to jailbreak it as i had to swap the Blu-Ray drive entirely.

Got into my motor….finally. I’ve been wanting to install a temp sensor parallel to my speed sensor for a while now. This took all day to get to the board inside the motor, test and install the sensor, epoxy it and wait for it to set, then put it all back.

Temp sensor is now operating.

It's actually running fine on only 4g of hard wired RAM. Found a motherboard with 8g online [which I will acquire when the Eagle shits]. I used the SSD out of my Bigger Laptop for it. Speed is there.

Installed my first NESRGB with multi out. There was a lot of swearing and a bit of hair pulling but in the end it worked out great!

Things I've recently modded:

1. Really old casio mini keyboard - Added internal midi interface and USB-C port for power and the USB
2. Enya Cyber G - Added a front USB-C port since the device does not give you midi when connected normally
3. Yamaha EZ AG - added USB-C port for power and internal midi in and out
4. RCM x86 install on Switch
5. USB-C ports on a GB DMG and 2 GB Color

To work on/finish

1. Old 3DS XL - Controller board + Capture card
2. DS Lite - Composite out
3. Wii HDMI mod
4. Add MIDI out to Enya Cyber G's guitar neck

Kid got a wicked staple in the rear tire. Looks kind of like a cotter pin.

Needless to say, they are back on the bike because I replaced the tube. I hate patching tires.

Switched the buttons of a third party DualShock 3 controller to have the official buttons, looks way nicer. And Xbox One analog sticks.

A lot of dust yeah, don't use it much.

Fixed my Tivoo/Divoom
After some years the internal battery died.
Since it checks for a working battery and won´t power on without, I replaced it with a spare joycon battery.
The hounsing is nastily encapsulated. Repair friendliness looks different. However, another part saved from the trash.

I traded in some console crap I had lying around for a modded GBA with IPS screen. However the idiot that was doing the mod didn't want to solder SELECT button because he thought it could mess with games. I had to solder one wire to make it work, it wasn't hard but it's just something I didn't have to do if that guy had at least 2 normal brain cells. And to make it even funnier he has an electronic workstation of around 200-300 dollars minimum while I only have a soldering mat and a soldering iron I bought few years ago from flea market.
