Hey, this is less a question about the program and more about knowing what to change. I'm editing the theme I made, and am manually changing the colour of the buttons in Switch Toolbox (since the program didn't change the colours of some buttons, e.g the button to delete mail). How can I find which parts of the brlyt file correspond to the button colour? Is there a resource that has info on this?

There is not any resource i know of that breakdown the wii menus
if you understand for the brlyt files work then you can get a good idea what parts you need to look at

I am no 100% sure (as I can only test in dolphin and you cant post memo's in dolphin to see the delete button )but it looks like the parts you need to look at are AddPic0_01 AddPic1_01 AddPic2_01 in the my_IplTop_e.brlyt of cmnBtn.ash.

To find this I first found the image of the bin in the ash files then looked in the brlyts for that image name which gave me the entries name of "Dust"
then i looked for the <tag type="pic1" name="Dust" userdata=""> section and looked at what entries was above that in the file to indicate what images would be under the bin image on screen

Thank you, thank helped. I'm almost done with my theme, I'm just having a little issue with the memo and address book. The text for them doesn't show up, i tried replacing each part of my theme with a version from a theme that didn't have this issue but i got nowhere. Do you know what part is responsible for this text?

The file in the theme that controls this is called ipl_common.bmg it's named something slightly different in UK version
If you just delete it from the mym it will fix your problem

Thank you! I also have an issue where the start button becomes white and blue again after switching from the disc channel without a disc to another channel, it still has its original colour. Do you know how to fix this?

it looks like when you open the disk channel first the wii checks if there is a disk and if not it sets the colours in the system code and not in the animation files

So I am afraid it is not possible to fix this issue

All good, Ive got it listed as an issue in my readme file about it so someone might have a solution. Speaking of it's finished! Now to find a good place to post it. Thank you so much for helping me (I gave my thanks to you and your program in the readme).

Okay, so turns out i encountered a last minute issue before posting the theme when i was doing a final check. I'm getting this weird graphical glitch in the address book page menu, It only shows up on real hardware which is why I didn't notice it before (the dots near the address book and memo pad). Any idea on what causes this?
