"Open" for their own devices. Every card have his own unique firmware.

So if there came up a clone.. they cannot use their firmware for it🤣
I understand that they need to make it from scratch. But if I recall they said early in the project the source code for the firmware were going to be opensource.

Yeah i know.. they said to much.. also.. the software should be released when the betatesters received it.. most of the testers received the card in October2024. Still no software...

I also have the Xtractor... but its also only a purple brick.. theres no firmware installed on it..

Unlock Switch is saying some... odd things on Twitter to say the least. Obviously there's a drama but their handling of it is pretty disorganized imo.

Regardless, I just wanted to point out that they included this statement in one of their responses and like, bro your only "product" is a half-baked clone of something else šŸ’€

The migswitch website is down and i did grab the firmware and nxdumptool host program from GBATemp Download page, but what about the MIGDumpTool NRO?

To do so download the latest firmware file from here,
This link needs to be updated to the new website. I wasn't sure if it's even allowed to link to their website? No matter the case, since you already have all their files documented here on GBATemp, that should suffice.

Is the store safe, has anyone used them?
It's probably a hit or miss. AliExpress is probably your best bet.

also its only showing v2, their a v3 MigX on AliExpress
v2 is the latest MIG Switch / MIG Flash flashcart. v3 MigX is not their product as far as I know.

Today people trends to use the wrong words for the wrong situation and then the words loose his meaning.

By example, literally was so wide used instead of «metaphorically» so then today the word «literally» means NOTHING. the same happens with fascist, steal, etc.

I see Mig Flash has new instructions and new tools for updating the dumper. I guess they finally it in their heads to make it work on MacOS. The question is does the dumper no longer disconnect when dumping on MacOS? I guess I'll find out soon enough.

The new Dumper Update app for Mac works. You just have to Right Click the app to bypass Gatekeeper,

It seems they have finally fixed the disconnection issue on MacOS. The question is can those who were having issues dumping certain games try the new update and see if that fixed those issues?
