I received my MIG flashcart yesterday. I'm using it with my OLED Switch, and it works perfectly. While I'd prefer CFW, paying for someone to mod it or attempting it myself wasnt possible.

I went with the Swedish based store listed on the official website (you can translate the webpage easily). I emailed in English asking if they shipped to my location and they responded very quickly. The package took four days to arrive, I'd recommend them if you're in Europe.

My experience with the flashcart has been very good. Putting backups on the cart is simple, as you'd expect. I'm using a Sandisk 256gb; be aware full Switch games can get quite large. I aim to play only one or two games at once, so I leave all the games I'm not playing in a seperate folder, not the root, to keep everything organised.

The only challenge so far has been locating full dumps. There's a torrent out there, but I cant seem to get enough seeds for the games in it I want. Still, all the popular Switch games are easy to locate, first party games and the like. I imagine thi s situation will improve as the months go on and more good samaritans volunteer their collection for the good of the high seas.

If anyone thinking about getting one has any questions I'll do my best to answer.
You’re not going to really find seeders unless you go for private torrents

These collections you speak of have been out for months. Public torrents and good Samaritan’s do not go hand and hand. No one was seeding when they first released either

Private trackers at least force you to seed and keep a proper ratio to keep access

Good point. I'm not a member of any private tracker at the moment.

The only thing I regret is not getting the dumper along with it. There's a handful of more niche Japanese games I wouldn't mind picking up cheap for myself and to share. Maybe in a couple weeks.
They pop up occasionally on aliexpress, search "mige dumper" every now and then. I got that one and it works.

From the UnlockSwitch's Telegram group:
We are finalizing the roadmap for the upcoming UnlockSwitch PBS launch, which will be announced this weekend with all the details, including pricing, available quantities, software, website, payment options, shipping methods, and more.

We’ve gone through the questions from our previous posts. If you have any additional questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below, and we will respond to all of them together.

Thank you 😊
Working firmware when? :D

"mige dumper"
:rofl2:

hey I have an issue with my MIG Switch the led color is white pinkish and it doesn't create the .NXINDEX file for some reason.
I have tried everything.
Tried 3 different SD cards(all of them had no issue when I tested them in h2testw)(I did format them with file system set to exFAT),
Tried Linux and Windows,
tried downloading the games from different sources (I have all 4 bin file necessary with the xci),
tried renaming them correctly.
If someone knows how to solve this please help me thanks!

Did you ever put the firmware file on the sd card ?

Do the bin files match the XCI? The initial data bin can not be borrowed from another game. It needs to be paired with the same XCI it was dumped from

Yes I did put update.s2 on the SD card.

And yes I all the files match the XCI.

Ah rats! You don't have a friend with a hacked Switch if so that can let you test one of their games?
not really but I don't think the problem is from the games. I've seen comments saying it works.

Do you have any idea what other problems could cause this.
Even without any game just the update.s2 my MIG doesn't light up blue and doesn't create .NXINDEX file which is weird.

I use 256GB SanDisk Extreme

here is what game file look like

As I mentioned my MIG doesn't create the file .NXINDEX for some reason so I've tried these files with the update.s2 file and without it and the update.s2 file alone neither of these combination worked. I've tried putting the game files in separate file called Cuphead.xci and I've tried putting the game files in the SD card root file neither worked.

Unless someone has any other ideas my only guess atm is that the initial data bin does not match your game
And since you didn’t dump it yourself I don’t think there is anyway to actually confirm that (pls correct me if I’m wrong)

but regardless of the game I've seen videos people setting up the MIG Switch they put in the SD card just the "update.s2" file and it lights up blue then it creates the file ".NXINDEX" then they delete the "update.s2" file and install the games.

For me it lights up white 3 long times and then I get the "The game card couldn't be read." and when I check the SD card there is no ".NXINDEX" file. Do you have any idea why this could happen?

The only thing that can be is your SD card

Try Fat32 for shits and gigs. This thing is really really picky on the ones it works with and does not work with

Tbh if more people could report to this thread with what ones work and don’t I think that would be really helpful. I can than update the OP with a known working list

I’d do it myself but I don’t have the money for all those SD cards lol
