I'll definitely grab one of the UnlockSwitch kits if the shipping isn't too nuts. The price is pretty good compared to the alternatives as long as it actually works.
there is only one working alternative for now! that is fully working! i see members cry over the price of the MiG Switch! hahahhahahaha it saves you a lot of money if your using it for playing backups.... you can tell the ones that want stuff for free... as they never give anything back to the scene....

MIG Switch is way too expensive in my opinion. I believe that some people here think so as well. It doesn't have any official place to buy it from which makes the AliExpress scalpers probably the only way to get them. Maybe a Facebook marketplace here and there as well. Unless things have changed recently and I haven't seen it? I've checked their "official" distributors back in March or April, but none of them offered a reasonable shipping and ETA for me. I'm not going to pay that much money and wait months to actually get or get scammed for doing so in the meantime. Those shops come and go, which makes them pretty unreliable.

UnlockSwitch offers (or promises?) the same (or even more?) for half the price of MIG Switch which is much more reasonable to me and is what I'm willing to pay for. Again, as long as they actually make everything work as it should, which is hopefully something they plan to do after all this time.

I was hyped to get MIG Switch on launch but it was way too difficult to actually get it shipped to my place. If its price didn't kill it for me, the shipping costs surely did.

If it doesn't turn out to be a good deal, I can always decide not to buy it and spend my money elsewhere, nothing wrong with that. Maybe even a used MIG Switch flashcart will drop somewhere for a decent price and I'll buy it. You never know...

This is what I mean! hahahahahah it's not over priced when you use it for playing download games hahahah its the price of 1 full priced game hahahah people want things as cheap as possible... its worth every penny they ask for the MiG - i would rather spend my money with the guys who made it first the MiG team! the unlock crap only steal there firmware but could never make anything for them selves BUT each to there own...

If I'm going to spend money "with the guys who made it first" I would probably buy the games from Nintendo.

Found the MIG employee

Ah, how have i missed the scene drama of paid shills and people who think they need to defend the purchase of their piracy device.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue with XCIs appearing as browsable folders? It seems to happen randomly with dumps.

First screenshot is a working normal example, and the second / third screenshots are an example of a broken game and what the contents show to be

These dumps still work on the MIG..but it makes it very difficult to test if they work first since I can’t just open them in an emulator when they are stuck in this folder state

you associate the bin files to a compressor app.

I gonna try to get it to make a review most likely. I don't need it but for fun since it ain't so expensive as the mig were.

$25 for just the flash cart is sweet deal. Are they officially only going to sell 10,000 units direct then expect the community to make their own flash carts after they sell out? I think if its open source then we can maybe hit $10 fairly quickly in china.
My reading of it is that they are only making/selling 10,000 of the standalone cartridge without the WiFi capability. But they will make more of the others with WiFi (and only sell them as part of the bundle?). I guess we’ll see when they release additional details.

Anyway, I’m pretty interested in that Xtractor. It’s the Mig Dumper that really caught my attention originally, after all.

This is from nxdumptools dumps. Sometimes they split the dumps into files. Check the backup section of the new mig site
