Hacking The soft-reset thing

My friend said use the soft-reset too much will crash the game or damage the TF. Is this true or he's joking ?
When I have all my game soft reset enable, sometime ingame it crash randomly but I didn't use the soft reset, is it coincidence ?

softreset wont damage the card in an way but it can cause freezing in some games
adn about that with our game crashing it could be your microsd
