Hacking The smurfs 2 AP? needs new AKAIO?

Hi,

I am trying to startup 'The smurfs 2 (EU)' for my kids but the only thing I see after starting the game (and entering a profile) is an option to show 'smurf collection'.
Starting this game in DeSmuME.0.9.8 also gives me 'mini games' and 'picture book'.

So it seems that some form of AP is implemented...
- is AKAIO still in development (no update since 2012) and if so: how to request this game to be made working?
- if not: is there some way (usrcheat?) to get around of this AP protection

Update the AP database in the DS-Scene rom tool to patch this game

Tested on DeSmuME and No$gba through no$zoomer , works fine .

Added in usrcheat.dat and tested on YSMenu without fix in extinfo.dat , works fine, other cards need to be tested, unknown ?...

Use R4cee to edit usrcheat.dat are other cheat files.

Hi Chaps.....

Bit of a noob time, I have had the same white screen for both the 6213 (US) and also the 6208 (EU) versions. So after reading this very helpful piece of information I decided to go ahead and download the DS-Scene Rom Tool, Once installed, Did all the necessary updates, and I noticed on the "AP Version Information" v 2.1.3 .... it states that AP update covers 6208, and that update 2.1.3 covers 6213 of the smurfs.

So with my first attempt I loaded 6208, it was recognized, as being what is was meant to be, I.E. The smurfs (EU) (Validated Rom) etc... But AP Patch still has a large red X........ Could someone throw some light onto what I may possibly be doing wrong, cos I followed the simple instructions, but I've not had much luck.
p.s. this is all being done on an old 32bit win XP system,

Would really appreciate some guiding light on this one please chaps....

oops nearly forgot, DSi has the latest 1.9.0 Akaio and latest loaders (2012), everything else works except this one game. music, and films all play back just fine. Also DSi has latest "Deep Labyrinth" installed onto cart. (not that this will make much difference i suppose)

Sorry guys for wasting any ones time but a shutdown of the software and a restart and all seems fine, also managed to get a 5919 version by "PLAYTHIS" instead of Eximius and both have the green tick now.

The AP is not white screens but

Anti-piracy (AP):

• AP = AP issue is , Picture book and Mini-games Icon's are Not Visible.

White screens is just down to bad firmware and capability , Its the firmware its self that need to be update, if they have done so.
