It worked?
No, I can not turn it on

Isn't very clear exactly what you mean but can you load any payloads by PC? If so use Hekate and check your battery percentage
the dongle will not inject payload

Ok, I will do that,thanks

Not sure what the problem is. You've given us very little to work with. I'm guessing your Switch battery is totally drained. You may have to connect it to the charger for a while. Do you have another device that you could use to push a payload? See if that at least gets you the SX splash screen.

How about linking the video?

I put mine on the switch cradle. Left it for a few mins, held power(while still docked) for 15 seconds, charged the SX dongle with my S9 phone. Waited an hour and pulled the switch out of the dock. Plugged in the dongle, sxos showed up, chucked it back in the dock and let it charge.

I then removed autorcm because currently it seems to cause more issues than it solves.

You just don't have battery in either the Switch or the Dongle

Dongle takes at most 30 seconds to charge
Switch, if it's drained, you'll need to charge it for a few hours (my friend said he charged for 6 hours) to get enough power to boot up the console in rcm

We need a stickied PSA thread about this. Powering off from Horizon does not actually power off when AutoRCM is enabled.

That would probably solve the OP's problem.

Wanted to make a thread about AutoRCM actually reducing the charge rate of the Switch when in RCM after CTCaer hooked up an ammeter to the Switch to test it out but I'm not too well versed in the other intricacies about AutoRCM to make the thread.

Try to send the payload using your pc and hold vol+ if your switch is booting into the sx os boot screen wait a few minutes and leave it connected to your pc, because with AutoRCM your Switch will turn on into rcm even if you dont press the power button.

Sometimes that’s the solution and you’ll also know your switch is in rcm or it’s powered off.

Yeah, my bro borrowed my switch for his work commute to see if he should get one. When he went to turn it on it was drained, he was stressing. I'd read infinite posts on here so wasn't too bothered. But combining what a few people had said that solution worked.

6 hours... The dongle doesn't even have a battery it uses capacitors and they don't take nearly as long to charge.

I had the same issue as you. I did a number of things. I quickly charged the pro dongle for a few seconds then I held the + bbutton and held it down while turning on the console to bring up the sx menu then I unpluged the dongle and plugged in my charger then selected the cfw. then I saw the console charging again once it booted. I noticed the console itself was died and with the autorcm enabled, it drained the console a bit so I disabled it (however I enabled it again bc I don't want to damage my pis with jig).
I hope it helps. the only issues I have is that the hbl (homebrew launcher) keeps giving me errors when I open it and emulators so I don't open it.
Oh and be careful when plugging in the micro usb, I actually cracked my dongle a bit when I used it (and still waiting to fix it by the end of the week)

  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
why the shit does the shitbox randomly insert newlines in my messages
  • Veho @ Veho:
It does that when I edit a post.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It inserts a newline in a random spot.

do y'all think having an sd card that has a write speed of 700kb/s is a bad idea?
trying to restore emunand rn but it's taking ages... (also when I finished the first time hekate decided to delete all my fucking files )
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Karma177 that sd card is 100% faulty so yes, its a bad idea
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the slowest non-sdhc sd cards are a few MB/s
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
