Gaming The R4i SDHC Fix for Pokemon B&W is here!

Its pretty simple, so just follow through and do all everything your told, and you should be alright. This is a temporary fix for the R4i SDHC, until something better comes along, and instead of whining, everyone should be thanking GBAtemp for being such cool guys. Being my first post, I will do my best in providing the steps to getting your Pokemon Black or White working on your R4i.

Okay, first patch the rom normally with Rodolph's Child Patch, to make sure all the EXP and whatnot is running smoothly. Check around the site, you'll find a link to it, don't ask for it. I'll put it up here once I'm not lazy about it. You may also want to check if the Game is working normally on a computer emulator before moving forward.

Secondly, download the TTDS files v.6.30 DAT, these will be the tools that will bring you to freedom. Throw all the files on the root of your Micro SD, and you should be ready to roll. The files can be found here; http://filetrip.net/f13032-TTDS-EXT-INFO-SAV-6-30.html

Insert your MicroSD back into your R4i, and the R4i into your DS of choice. Open up TTMenu.nds, and scan through your several different games. Find your Pokemon Black or White, start it up and you should be ready to roll.

umm hello, yeah, i tried the ttds menu thing and when i click my pokemon black or white rom it just stays stil and freezes ehrn it says loading for either games, please help.!.!

when you load the TTDS menu, dont click on the pokemon game straight away casually go through your games for about 10-20seconds and then load it up
i found that if you try and load immediately it froze.

Yeah, I left it there for 5mins, still didnt work.
The r4 i have is just an R4-SDHC. 1.25b from this site http://r4i-sdhc.com/indexe.asp (this is the site mentioned on the flashcart.)

that is a supposivly a fix for the R4-SDHC (I believed its a black box version), i do not own a R4-SDHC so i cannot see if it works.

Already did that. still doesnt work.

fuck it. thanks for trying to help. but I thinK im just gonna wait for a firmware update or the US release (at least that one will be worth all the trouble)

although i just noticed on my R4i that it will still freeze if u dont move off the rom
if u havnt tryed pressing down off then romm then back onto it, that may help.

i take that you are running v1.25b
make sure u got all the files from the download the only problem ive had using the r4i-red
is the freezing, which was a easy fix

you copied all the files from the download to the root of ur sd yea?

Was able to load the DSTT menu .
However , i can't get into Pokemon white ?

Thats really strange, 3 friends with r4i-sdhc (red) havnt had any issues, all i can suggest is try another rom
