Is there a way to install a GBA/GBC emulator on a N3DS, running US 9.0.0?

Yep. Do you have anyway to install something like RXtools or CakeFW? Then, you could install something like MGBA as a .cia.

I've never heard of any of those, but I'll look into it, thanks! I've got Gateway, if that's of any sort of help

Well if you have a Gateway that's a big help. I'm not really the best person for this stuff though. I recommend looking up a guide for that.

It might just be a problem with those emulators. I recommend asking the creator.

I'm not seeing an answer so I'll just repost it.

I just opened my 3DS (9.6.0-24U) 2 days ago so I have a few questions:

1: Can I get back in the browser after installing menuhax?
2: Can I update games and play online while still being on 9.6?
3: What can brick my 3DS (which should be a whole separate thread, kernel or user mode)?
4: Can I remove menuhax (which I wont do until the 9.6.0 Gatewait is over)?

And yes I tried Google, but this is a Noob thread.

2. No.
3. Nothing really. All homebrew > 9.2 is running in userland, meaning there is almost no chance of anything happening.
4. Yes. The proper way to do it would be through the installer, but you could just change your theme to something else if something goes wrong.

Internet Browser display an update message on 3DS (9.9 to 10.2), so it can't be used to launch HB
There is a trick to launch it but it only works on NEW 3ds.

Did you update using a card? All cards starting from 9.9 come with a dummy browser that blocks the browser from working.

Nope, I updated accidently my 3DS from 9.0 to 9.9, without game card.
But I'm not the only one, I don't know if you have check this thread (https://gbatemp.net/threads/browserhax-is-dead-on-9-9-and-up.400930/) ^^

i think that he doesn't know that browserhax does not need any installation. (i think he tought at browserhax_installer or thingh like that)
