For Pokemon Platinum, someone made a code that modifies the TM1 to the move of their choice. Is there a possibility to change that code from TM1 to TM17?
TM1 = Focus Blast
TM17 = Protect

Even though that code changes TM1 to something else, the game still views it as Focus Blast, thus most Pokemon can't use it. Since Protect is a move that most (if not all) Pokemon can have, it should be a better choice.

hey, i just downloaded the cheat.dat file.... so.... I ran into a small snag in pokemon platinum.
This is for anyone who has played through pokemon platinum (or diamond/pearl for that matter)

i was testing out a few of the cheats when the game started freaking out and now my rival has weird pokemon, distortion world is completely screwed up, and Cyrus nor Giratina appear at the end. I really hope that i didn't just ruin 20 hours of playtime.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are not supposed to cheat out the KEYITEMS. For pokemon games, I suggest you guys to use pokesav instead.

I was wondering if the cheats for a game will work for an [E] game if i transfer them over?? It may sound like nit picking but there are cheats on one that aren't on the other and vice versa......

is it easy enough to do??

sometimes U/E shares the same codes, example : suikoden, henry hatsworth, gta!

it is not that difficult but someone need to spend time to do it

it would be a little tricky if it is ASM custom routine

I posted the code problem a couplle times in a few pages back for the New Super Mario Brothers and ask people to test it, but no one seems to care....
since, you got so many flashcards, when you have time, do you mind test the New Super Mario Brothers (U)or(E) push L to Shrink and push R to grow and see if it works or it just makes the character disappear???
