Can you guys help me? I need a Patched Grand Theft Auto mastercode and cheats. Also whenever I get to the autosave screen and press yes and then I choose a save slot, the screen turns black. Please help me with the codes and the screen on my R4. Oh and Narin I'm sorry if I'm bossing you around, but can you put back the Pokemon Platinum patched by the arm7 and englished patched. Unless you can tell me how to change my save file to Pokemon Platinum (U). Thanks!!

This is weird, my CycloDS does not detect any cheats for GTA (U). I suppose this is because I did the ARM 9 patch, but the previous cheat file I used (from Curley's topic) worked just fine.

Anyone else having the same problem?

What elixir said is true, and to fix it you'll have to re-input the game ID for your patched version of GTA. You can use R4CCE to detect the patched versions ID.

OK, lets clean this place a bit.......

From now one (and for some period), there will be STRICT rules in this thread......

1. any post that isn't contributing to the CHEAT database WILL get removed
2. any offtopic posts will get removed
3. any flashcart talk will be removed
4. any codes requests WILL get removed
5. anything BUT POSTED CHEATS by members will be removed!!

There can be grateful posts (as in members thanking team that keeps cheat database) every now or then, but if there are too many in a row, it will be removed because it's cluttering the thread!!

Hiya there. I have a couple questions;

Q1: I don't know what's up with my R4 but the only time it actually loads ALL the cheats for my games are when I use the CHEAT(UE).dat file. I tried using all others. If I use CHEAT.dat then it shows the cheats for HALF my games. If I use USRCHEAT.dat then it shows the cheats for the OTHER HALF of my games but whenever I use CHEAT(UE).dat file it shows the cheats for ALL the games. Can anyone explain to me why?

Q2: How come whenever I click the CHEAT(UE).dat on the http://cheats.gbatemp.net/ link, it brings me to a 404 error? Is there no new update for it? I can't seem to even get Pokemon Platinum running, japanese or english.

Q3: Can anyone help a poor noob out and tell me step by steps of what to do and such? I'm totally clueless with this.

A bit if digging through the forums would resolve this easily, but since I'm in a giving mood, I'll give you a few pointers.

There's a program called R4CCE. Download it and load the cheat.dat file on it, and it'll give you a list of all of the games that are in the current database. When you select a game, there will be a little check box with "Enable" right beside it. If its a game that you won't play, make sure the check box is empty.

The R4 can only list so many games and codes, and the database is quite big.

Q2) The first post on the Official Cheat Compilation thread has the latest download. Search there first.

I did search there but i'm not looking for a CHEAT.dat or a USRCHEAT.dat. I'm looking for CHEAT(UE).dat which I can only find when I click the link to http://cheats.gbatemp.net/

Also, I tried the R4CCE and disabled all the games except for platinum and it still does not show up =| and I've tried it for other games.

The R4 card, as you know, has a limit to how many cheats it can show. This limit used to be somewhere between the (UE) version and the regular all regions version.

The database has now grown so large that the (UE) version now exceeds the R4 minimum so there is no point in making one - it can no longer do the job it was created for. Narin has removed it from the main links but has so far neglected to remove the dead link from the R4 notice.

After elixirdream's advice to me way too many pages back in the thread. I decided to look into creating my own code for Suikoden Tierkreis Undub. It's only a money code so nothing big and complicated but seems like something goes wrong at some point

The code tests out and works well using an emulator but after saving it into CHEAT.dat using R4CCE when I go select my cheats there is nothing to select from as in I cannot access the menu/my input doesnt show up.

From my earlier posts I learned that switching the audio files around and such cause the Game ID to change so I already took that into consideration when saving the game using R4CCE so that the Game ID is certainly the same as the undub.

Have I missed something simple or am I just doing it wrong again?
