If you want more go buy a real action replay and some real games and complain to datel about not having cheats. Basicly.
Mods should lock this topic when it gets too crowded, or in times where LOADS of games are released,
and then people post codes via PM to cheat code crew members, who then post all of them when the thread is unlocked.

Therefore Narin's current job
(i.e. fixing the server. I know how fucking difficult this is as Dstemp/Nintenhacker has been hacked about 4 times. On goes the process of fixing php files, sql errors ect... and it means that overload makes sql edits and fixes slower, too many people on a PHP page make the write process slower)
is much quicker. and easier.

And the big fonts won't have to go out as much.

In fact, now I think about it. Why not just make a PM box for cheats only (address and all).

The reason I don't bother submitting codes anymore, apart from the misunderstanding I had with Narin 6 months ago, is no-one sees posts after all the selfish noobs.
that way everyone is happy.

And trust me, I DO make pretty awesome codes. (even though I only submitted about 7 to the entire database)

R4 isn't outdated and useless, only he firmware updates don't come, as long as YSMenu is updating, the R4 will work. In other words the R4 is as much use as DSTT is.

1. any post that isn't contributing to the CHEAT database WILL get removed
2. any offtopic posts will get removed
3. any flashcart talk will be removed
4. any codes requests WILL get removed
5. anything BUT POSTED CHEATS by members will be removed!!

There can be grateful posts (as in members thanking team that keeps cheat database) every now or then, but if there are too many in a row, it will be removed because it's cluttering the thread!!

EVERYTHING THAT ISN'T STRICTLY CHEAT RELATED AND ISN'T CONTRIBUTING WILL GET REMOVED!!

This measures are taken because there has been too much crap posted lately, too much flaming, and overall, too much rudeness!!

just wanna ask for all cheat updater here for things like this : http://cheats.gbatemp.net/files/GameList.txt
It's Narin's and I find it really helps for us DS1 user who wants to use any cheat @ gbatemp
it's because we're not using cheat.dat but instead a single file with .scc format (i.e. cheat for Mario Kart DS (E) was 201.scc, 201 was the release number).
why this was a problem? because the only one dat to scc converter I know (r4cheat2sccheat) only capable to convert it into a certain code for specific game (i.e. again, for Mario Kart DS (E) will become AMCP_E45A2937.cht). and if the cheat.dat contains cheats for 1000 games, they'll become 1000 .scc file with specific games code

that's why the GameList.txt was really help as I can find the AMCP_E45A2937 code was belong to Mario Kart DS (E)..

anyway, the .cht will need another software called cht2supercardcheat to convert it to .scc and can be used on our cart. hope you guys understand my difficulties as what I have to do is download the usrcheat.dat, convert it to -many- .cht file, match the code from the gamelist.txt, find the one I needed and convert it again from cht to scc if I want to use any cheat...

I dont need you to build a list exactly like that. If you just add the game's code to the changelog it was very much helps me

Hey adr990, yes, this is the best example of right kind of post!
You have added a cheat, and that's perfectly OK, it's up to team if they'll include it in the update, but you haven't posted anything useless!
So don't remove it, and keep it up

Also, unank's post, he asked for direct help, he didn't write anything pointless, and if/when someone answers him (it'll be a good contribution for others with similar problem), that's the reason why I left his post too..

Yeah, if some cheats don't work, it would be very nice of you (or anybody else) to report it! Anything that helps and contributes to the database is welcomed..
But any kind of whining (and yeah, there were people that whined about cheats not working) will be removed..
If you write something like:
"Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that Cheat for MoonJump in Metroid Prime isn't working, I tried several times, and talked with my friends, they have the same problem. I thought you might want to know."
That would be great, but posts like this:
"

I just tried MoonJump with MetroidPrime, and some asshole messed it up, it's not working, you have no life, all you guys do is make cheats, and then they don't work...aaaarrrgghhh, I hate it!"
Will be removed and user warned/suspended!

You know what I mean!

Yeah, you can, but there mustn't be too many of those posts because they would push the helpful posts with cheats and questions/answers..
Usually, we're much more easier on stuff, but this is a special situation now, because Narin isn't here, and lately people have gone mad here..There weren't almost any legit posts for couple of pages, only whining, requests, arguing, flaming and flashcart talk!
