So, when can we expect the next update?

Next update will be on Wednesday (March 11th) night or in my case, tonight. The delay was cause by me being busy trying to fix up the server (Which should be fixed now) and also waiting on a couple people for fixes and codes.

What happened to the update that was supposed to be done last night?

thanks for the Avalon Code's but the game hangs at the moving the ill to the 4 slot thing so i guess the r4 well not support this game :/

How does this work?
I have tried several things, nothing seems to work. I give up.

2. Secret recruitable monsters:
Starkers requires completion of Stark Raving TnT board.
Rebjorn joins at pothold after Estark is defeated and Starkers is recruited.
There is no use for them by then!
Is there any way to get these earlier (when they could actually be useful).
I have not tried "Have All Monsters Recruited (Press Select)". Will this get them?

Whoops, after looking over the thread, this is just a database! Don't want to clutter this up, so I'll edit this post into a compliment post, because you guys are great!

you can use r4cce to change the activators yourself

change to any combination of your choice

(If this sounds sarcastic, it's not.) Why would I change the activators? I don't see why a Y button cheat would make the backlight control stop working. What would I change the activator to?

Also, the first post says that YSMenu is recommended for compatibility, but the backlight control doesn't even work on mine. Is this true for all YSMenus or is something wrong with mine?

Edit because I might as well try to help while I'm here:

NM87, as far as I understand, this is just a collection of cheats. Narin doesn't make the cheats, he just compiles them (I think). You would probably be better served to find the codes yourself or ask for them somewhere else, and then post back here with the codes so Narin can add them.

I have tried this on my old EDGE 1.44 and with my new AK2i with AKAIO 1.4, both on NDS Lite.
I boot NDS, "Enable Debug Room (Press L)" cheat, boot game, continue from save or start new game,
I press L while standing, walking, in menus, while walking, in town, on world map, in a room, ...
nothing happens! wtf am I missing?

In the defence of Narin (whom I assume has been very busy of late) due to gbatemp switching servers, and have a number of issues including a crash, and a few periods of offline time as well (Last night (japan time) I couldn't even access the site. I'm sure Narin hasn't had the time or opportunity to post the new list, there is also the possiblity he is adding all the new codes that have appeared for completeness. As we are not the one's making the database we should at least have the kindness to wait with understanding, or if we can't wait learn the ropes and add the codes to an older version of the database ourselves.

Narin and the other coders here work without payment (I think) and share their knowledge freely, let's not take it for granted. Now hopefully I won't bother anyone with posting again and go back to lurking in the shadows for another year or so.

indeed Narin is rather busy not only on gbatemp but also real life~! finally, he is getting a little busy with his life! thats a good sign! as a friend i am happy to see that because he no longer need to stay up all night just for the database sake or other sake
besides that he was waiting some codes to be fixed by some coders! coders who are trying to fix those codes also have been spending many days trying to fix those faulty codes!
honestly speaking, since the last update... none of the games are worth adding into the .dat! at least this is my opinion but that is not Narin's oppinion.
he is just too nice! i always advise him try not to take it so hard upon himself but he'd never listen...

remember he is doing it for free!
he needs to LIVE

EDIT: Narin was so excited when avalon code came out! !!! When i asked him... hey hows the game? he say NOT YET! i don't think i need to elaborate on this...

Hello, first time poster here so have mercy on a newbie.
Just to confirm this, I have this game that has been undubbed and because that, the data has been modified from the original so the Game ID is also different from the original one which is why the game wont pick up cheats.

I tried modifying the cheat by replacing the original Game ID with the one from the undubbed one, but it still wont pick up cheats.

Is there any chance of getting the undubbed game to pick up the cheats or is this just a lost cause?

From searching around the forum, I did get this impression it would be possible to get the cheats working if I just switch the original game ID with undubbed game ID.

the answer is YES and NO...

when a game is patched/undubbed, there would be possibility the original address is moved to somewhere else! (this is your case)

unless someone bother to make codes for the undubbed version, otherwise if there isn't any special reason or you insist on playing it with cheats then play with clean rom!
Anyway, you could always learn how to make those codes for yourself; it would not be that hard!

by the way, what game would that be?
