I have a question.

I have an M3Real, using the official english Sakura. I am using a DSATM-patched ROM for Dragon Quest: The Hand of the Heaenly Bride (E).

Anyways, after adding the DQV cheats posted here (EXP, Gold Multipliers, etc), for some reason, they won't take effect in my game.

Is it because I'm using a DSATM-patched game, or may there be something else.

All my other cheats work fine, however. (Mainly the Auto-SPinner for Ouendan!)

guys just to clarify here, elixir is DONE with making codes for DQ5, so unless there is a bug with them, u would have to ask elixir to fixed it in IRC

They don't bug the save file, the save file gets bugged if you play the game without the protection bypass cheat.

Patch the game with DSATM, it works for me so it should work for you too. I've already played more then 10 hours, without any problems.

Oh, and the code probably doesn't work because the M3 Real doesn't inject the cheats immediately, it takes 10 seconds or something. That's the problem. DSATM patches the game with the code, so it's always enabled. (Don't really know how to say that.)

make sure your codes are formatted something like this:

cheat in this case 12345678 12345678
