You can use the R4 skins on YSMenu (I used by R4 Themes on YSmenu with no problems) and you can use Moonshell on YSMenu as well.

Ok i was told by Narin and refer to the quote, we can use r4skins on yasumenu as well

so for all the r4 lovers.. you can use r4skins with yasmenu
besides don't use yasumenu.. you can try

1) move the cheat up to the top of the list... via r4cce
2) use U/E database
3) edit your own database (troublesome)
4) last solution, get a new flash cart~!

Please excuse my ignorance but I was rather joyed to see the newest update includes Kumatanchi! Yet... when starting there are no code options. "/ I'm using CycloEvo and yes, the Enable Cheats is on as it works for other games, just not for Kumatanchi. Do I need a certain dump or something?

2. click Add Game
3. click on the ... button
4. choose your game
5. compare GameID

Now I have some advice for you: If that's your attitude, then the thread called "The NEW massive CHEAT compilation thread." is the wrong place for you.
I typically do not cheat in games and never on my first play through.
However, there is more that these "cheat" codes do than just cheat, things like game fixes and bypasses for example.

You can use R4 skins if you want.
The solution is real, the best is DONT CHEAT.
You mentioned some cheats were for piracy bypass, they dont really count as cheats, they dont spoil the game.
I went through about 10 pages but didnt catch your quesiton, what do you want?

cheats not showing up? use R4CCE to MOVE the game. alt + up, all the way to the top, or near the H region to be safe.

still not showing up? check whether the GAME ID is the correct one. open R4CCE, go to your game, press that "..." button. then when that window appears, choose the rom. it will give you the GAME ID.

still not showing? check your _system_ folder. is there only ONE CHEAT.DAT? or is there 2?

some games do not show cheats for the R4. Use yasu's r4bugfix. it helps.

The (one of the)BEST SOLUTION: YSMENU. As un R4 as it sounds, its way better, plus you can skin it too. Unless...you're too noob?unexperienced?

by the way: dont EVER insult the people who go on cheat rampages on irc. you never know they might just wham you down someday.

if you still can't figure out how to get those CODE (bypass,fixes) going ! go get yourself a copy of FIXED or PATCHED version then....I -HAVE- figured it out.
I've used the PrePatched version. Didn't work.
I've patched my own using the tool. Didn't work.
I've shortened the list by removing games. Partially works.
I'm looking for a solution to the problem not just an "ignore it" answer.

besides don't use yasumenu..
you can move the cheat up to the top of the list... you can try removing the cheats... you can get yourself a new flash cart~!

Have a look at the red part. Solutions? Those ARE freaking solutions. If it could be done, they would have told you how to fix it. But since it can't be done, then you should just do what they said and use YSMenu or just don't cheat.

I've had enough of this bullshit you're giving to elixirdream, polle123 and iPikachu. They're trying to help, even if they don't seem like they are. It's your problem.

that is what you're doing. you cant get the codes to show up so what do you gotta do? do something else to make it show up! really, just get the ysmenu. way worth it than complaining and bitching about not being able to see/use cheats.

man, you dont want to use it because you cant see your skins? who cares. well, maybe you do but really now, you wont be looking at your skins all the time. you're just going to start it up, pick game, done gg. not stare at your skins.

what do you want? a way to use cheats or look at skins? you gotta sacrifice something. i was like you. i didnt want to use a piracy bypass cheat nor did i want to use ysmenu kuz i wont be able to see the skins. i didnt care anymore, i wanted cheats to show up on my r4 so i got ysmenu =p

hi, in answer to your question elixirdream about me using the L-R-select cheat activator it did not have it listed on the code select screen for the R4DS but i will try it now or tomorrow morning(i was out at a waterpark today with the family(siblings,dad,dads girlfriend) and got major arm sunburn. it is VERY LIKELY it will hurt A LOT tomorrow morning and i will likely have trouble sleeping tonight.(drat,i LIKE sleep!!!).

i yet to try the code because i don't have the game

However, the reason i know using L+R+select because of r4cce
if you own a copy of r4cce, use it to view the .dat.
1) below CODE TITLE over there you can see the COMMENT ... it says L+R+select

2) besides that... when you click to view code...take a look on the bottom right of your r4cce for
"KEY-PAD CHEAT ACTIVATION BUTTON"
if the tick is gray meaning no activator
if the tick is black meaning there is an activator (for this case L, R and select is black in colour)
