hm i have a question about the acekard 2 cheats.

am i sposed to download the cheat.dat, delete everything in the cheats folder (its just the regular ak2 loader) and paste it there?
cuz i tried it and it didnt work :/ it said it couldnt find the cheat DB

there are three files in the cheat folder btw. cheat.dat, usrcheat.dat, and cheats.xml

Get the latest Beta version of AKAIO, its much better than the AceKard, especially when it comes to cheats. You can get the latest beta here http://akaio.gbatemp.net/betas/AKAIO_1_3h.rar Which fixes up the cheat engine quite a bit. Now after you download and put AKAIO on your card, delete everything in your cheats folder and place the latest usrcheat.dat file there and make sure in the settings, usrcheat.dat is selected and the cheat engine is turned on.

By the way, AceKard + AKAIO has the best cheat engine out of all the flashcards. Its the most compatible with the Action Replay DS and their codes and I have yet had any major problems with it. When I do encounter a problem, Normmatt tends to fix it within hours of me reporting it. So yea, AKAIO has the best cheat engine out of all the flashcards. It was custom made by Normmatt.

I too am a noob with a new cyclods that was an xmas present. I see several cheat files to download which one should i use? and do i just copy it to my root folder?

hey narin, hope you had a merry x-mas?
anyway, the all cards code for the chocobo game( U version) does not seem to work,unless it means all cards in my deck and i will never run out??? if otherwise, i do not have all cards in my thing when the cheat is on. is it because i have a R4DS?( i have deleted all cheats exept the ones for the games i have on my card at the time, so they ARE showing up(nice advice)).
i do not like using the format thingy that you suggest(it does not look ANYWHERE as nice as the default R4's one(even with my own pictures,heh heh...).
Please Help!

You should use the cheat.dat/other. thing that is in the same format as the one in your folder where the cheat file and other stuff that aint games is. So, for example, i have an R4ds and i use cheat.dat because in my folder that is what it is, a .dat file called CHEAT. So, You should use the . whatever that your cheat file is.(correct/insult me if wrong at your whim(just NO swear words PLEASE!!!)
That is what i think.

@Dr.Nick: You need the user.evocheats file for your cyclods. As for where to put it, I can't help as I do not own a cyclo.

by the way, you can also use r4cce to edit your cheat codes (more information on first post of the thread)

- Using Cheat Codes:
First, enable Cheat Codes in the SETTINGS/MISC screen. When you launch a game, CycloDS Evolution will check to see if any cheat codes exist for the game you have launched inside the cheat code database. If cheat codes are found then you will be asked if you wish to enable cheats or not. If you select NO then the game will launch with no cheats at all and function as it would normally. If you select YES then a list of the available cheat codes is displayed where you can enable the cheats you desire. Once you've finished selecting the desired cheat codes, press START to execute the game with codes enabled.

If you have Enhanced Mode Enabled, you can enter Enhanced Mode during a game and Enable/Disable the cheats which you toggled before entering the game. Please note that this is a master toggle and simply enables/disables all cheat codes which you selected before launching the game - you can not toggle individual cheat codes at the current time.

If you want to add your own codes, you can create a user made cheat database. Cheat codes in the user made database take priority over the default database, so if both databases have cheat codes available for the same game then only the codes from the user database will be used. You can create and edit user made database files using the Evolution Cheat Editor Software which is part of the Evolution Tools Software for PC by TeamCyclops (Available at the "Official CycloDS Support Page", see above for a link).
Simply create the file and save it as "user.evoCheats" in the "/CycloDS/" folder on your MicroSD card.

well,maybe you deleted it by accident,the USRCHEAT.DAT for DSTT is complete,check again

The solutions given in the initial post have not helped me and I'm not the only one that it hasn't worked for.
