I tried using that, but the patched.nds file is 0kb. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure you've extracted all the files to the same folder as well as the ROM. Also, I haven't tested it on a 64-bit OS, so if you're running a 64-bit version of Windows that may be the problem.

I tried both using the patch and by using DSATM. I wonder if there is a way to get the patched version working on the supercard-- the clean rom works just fine (until the gate freeze)...

Using BelmontSlayer fix for M3Real, the game only produce black screen (on No$GBA or M3Sakura) The file is 128MB. Can someone tell me what's wrong?

All the files are in the same folder as the rom, and I'm pretty sure I'm not running on 64-bit, but no luck. Also, tried the new cheat database, still no go.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Also, A big thank you to everyone involved in making this available.

Here is the cheat which should work on most flashcarts (See below if you have an M3 Real):
0204E364 E3A00000
0204E368 E12FFF1E
0204E6c4 E3A00000
0204E6c8 E12FFF1E

If you have an M3 Real, here is the cheat you need to use:
523FE294 E08AA009
E23FDFDC 00000024
E08AA009 E35A0000
1A0000AB E1A0A00E
E28FE000 E12FFF1C
E1A0E00A E31E0402
EA00009F 00000000
023FE294 EAFFFF50
D2000000 00000000
0204E364 E3A00000
0204E368 E12FFF1E
0204E6c4 E3A00000
0204E6c8 E12FFF1E

thanks for the fix, I would like to say that the M3 Real part in unnecessary..since the fix is just 4 regular 32bit address codes

Hmm... anyone else with a Supercard DS One having any problems? Game is patched correctly and works on my buddy's R4, but it seems to lock up every time on the Initializing Save Memory, Do not turn the power OFF screen.
Disable the saver patch and set the save size to 256.0k.

It did work. Thanks a ton! Although, the 128MB file created by the patch kept giving me a white screen on boot, whereas the 82MB file my friend is using seems to work fine-- he made it with DSATM-- is there anything to worry about with the filesize being reduced, or is it just compression or something?

It's fine, the patching process that the DSATM uses automatically trims the unused space from the rom file.

I was able to create a full working 128MB file with it. You need to make sure the Chrono Trigger DS rom is named original.nds (the file that is created will be called patched.nds) and wait until the dos prompt actually closes naturally. That's a mistake I made.

EDIT: sorry, I thought we were talking about the patch created by Belmontslayer.

Just wanted to ask:

I haven't checked any cheat database updates for at least a month (but I've got today's right now & just need to find my Micro SD reader) but it seems games like TWEWY & Yoshi's Island DS no longer have cheats. Any explanation why?

I just checked the Cheat database 11/19/2008 and kinda confuse on something,
Chrono Trigger DS (J)
Piracy Check Bypass Cheat:
1. Game Fix (Non-M3 Real/Sakura Version)
2. Game Fix (M3 Real/Sakura Version)

I know that 1. works for M3Real, Itouch, Sakura or any flashcart and 2. can be ....., but why they both have Sakura Version on them?

For some reason when I tried to open an existing DSTT cheat file on the R4 cheat code editor it kept crashing on me so I just made a new one... whatever works.
