First of all, thanks Narin &Cia. for all your hard work.
Is there any program to edit .scc files? The cheat menu for scds1 only shows up to 14 letters for each "@" and 8 letters for each "#", so most of the times you don't know what the cheat do or how it works.

I could use the .xml file to create my own scc files, but I have discovered that many cheats don't work this way. Is there any problems with the official converting tools?

You can make your own scc very easily, all you need is the codes which you can get with r4cce.exe and dat file.

Or you could open up a usercheat.dat in r4cce.exe, re-label what you want, save then mass convert the new usercheat.dat to .dat's then .scc's.

@The Experts... I wonder if it was feasable to run an editing script or bat on the original xml or whatever that changes common phrases, like 'Infinite' to 'Inf', 'Level' to 'Lvl', 'Maxium' to 'Mx' and so on.. this would make a big difference to the supercard label problem.

Important! Read This Before Posting!

For those having problems with some games not showing up like Yu-Gi-Oh and so on, you have two options. You can either get a new flashcard that doesn't have a buggy cheat system and have a limit for the number of cheats and games it displays or edit the cheat file manually and either move the games you want the cheats for to the top of the list or delete the games you don't need.

Heres a list that is always up to date of all the games that have cheats in the cheat database so please check this before you post about games not having cheats:

Thak ya` for the new release. the thing is, i can open using the r4cce.exe the USRCHEAT.DAT, but the prgram dont want open my cheat.dat. when i tried, it say the ¨convinient¨ windows excuse: ¨the program has encounter a error and need to close. we sorry for the inconvienience.¨ -that is my traslation from my WXP spanish, so sorry if innacurate.- why i can`t open Cheat.dat in the program?

A little note: the Pokemon (E) & (D) cheats are on M3 still not working, but i saw that someone is looking at it

I tested Pokemon (D) (not the european versions) on R4, CycloDS and M3 DS REAL and the code works fine. Which M3 Card are you using? M3 Simply or M3 DS REAL?

May be, the codes are to big for your card. Let me know, which codes doesn't work and so on.

umm i was going to download some cheats for the SuperCard DS One v3 . but when i checked the cheat section the SuperCard section was gone

did you take it out ? or is it just like that ? ( does that mean you arent gonna do cheats for the SuperCard any more :sob: )

and also , when ever i use the DSTT / YSMenu on the SuperCard and i want to use cheats , the cheats show up in another language ? do you know why ?

Just wondering, I downloaded your cheat file, though, all the cheats you put in the file, you don't leave any out correct? (First time seeing this page, didn't get to read through all 151 pages). So say there are 150 games on the DS, you would essentially have cheats for all 150 games?

Updated my r4 with the 1.18 patch recently. And then added the [massive] CHEAT.DAT file to the _system_ folder... most the cheats work, BUT there's a little problem:

When viewing the "Items After Battle" codes for Final Fantast IV (U) the list cuts off short. Maybe about 70 items in or so, didn't count. But there's a chunk missing.

Any ideas on what to do?

52 items actually, did count. I worked on it yesterday

There are too many items in one folder to put it simply; give-or-take around 230 from my estimate. What I did was through R4CCE I cut & pasted parts of that one folder into other folders. Ended up having 7 total "Item After Battle" folders of about 40-52 in each.

EDIT: Or if you wanted to filter it yourself you could go & delete all items you would not need codes for such as Clothing, Zeus' Wrath, or other useless items and only save the rare/key/augments and items you wish to have. It may still be 52+ after deleting all the useless items, but that should only be 2 total folders max for your fix.

Yeah, kinda did that. Just thought something may have been wrong in r4 itself. Thanks for confirming the method of fix. :]
