I was wondering if anybody had problems with the Advance Wars: Dual Strike codes. I am fine with the infinite money code, but for the codes like press y for a unit to move again, and all the ones after the max exp for all of the different COs, I get 4 of each repeating and the rom always freezes when loading with any of them or all of them. Could somebody look into this for me? BTW I'm using an acekard 2.

It seems if you try to save the game when you have codes on, the game crashes. Hmm...

This would be the case of whatever flash cart you are using NOT enabling codes RIGHT at startup. Since the game has been running long enough for it to detect the lack of the grip, it is too late by the time the code finally is applied.

The only recourse currently, is to patch your rom.

CODEAt offset 0x62BC, replace 0xA0, 0x0F, 0xA0, 0xE1, with 0x00, 0x00, 0xA0, 0xE3.
At offset 0x3ABB3, replace 0x18 with 0xE8.

Alternatively, you can download my IPS patch from http://ds.caitsith2.net/ghot.ips. (This is really only required when flash card of choice does not apply the codes right away.)

Use the controller code style of your choice.

Read above. Theres a code in the cheat file and also if your card is like the M3 Real (Applies codes AFTER the gg check) then you'll need to patch it.

I don't know if there are any other codes for the game and I don't particularly care. I just hate having to add the backlight code, and the game itself, to the dat manually every time you update. (yes, I use yours exclusively, I'm not maintaining any underground dats or anything like that. Yours is THE dat) I kinda like the game, so I play it a lot. I use the backlight code on any game I play a lot. So if you could just pop it in place, that would be great.

My obsession with the backlight code will end when I get a CycloDS EVO.

I plan to purchase one within the next few weeks.

Yeah, Great work Narin! Most games work flawlessly =)

I just have one pickle, With Digimon World: Dawn, the only cheats that work are the wild battle codes. I haven't managed to get any other codes working.

WelshLadGriff, there is various cheats that work other than wild battle codes, the max/infinite bits is a prime example

But if you have a region that is an "less common language" (e.g- French) it is less likely to have more cheats and accurate ones than the US game.

narin i dont know if this has been posted b4 but for Final Fantasy 12 Revenant Wing the have item armours and codes like that do not work they are the one where you dont have to press select or any button to activate them
