What are the chances of someone making a Mega Man Star Force 2: Zerker x Saurian [Europe] for invincible, always counter and the Data transmission (After christmas of course).
I know I can play the US rom on my R4 (Which already has those codes), but I have a real MegaMan Battle Network game, and the MMBN event in star force only works on an European Star Force 2 if you have an European MMBN game.

You do know that often times NA codes work on EU and Vise versa right? :/

Most games regardless of regions share the same memory.

I doubt the US Star Force 2 codes will work on the EU version, because the US Star Force 1 codes were not the same as the EU Star Force 1 codes. (Which has been the case for every GBA/DS Megaman game thus far)

Yes you can.

But what really makes that cheat shine is it lets enemies through too.

So lets say you Hold X, dodge an enemy, and let go of X as they go out of bounds. Then your enemy cant move and is vulnerable to long distance attacks.

I found this useful on Super Hard Mode, as 3 charging chimera beast things were too much for me So U just hold 2 of them to the side and take my time :3

This code has many applications. Shortcuts, Way around through gates, combat usage, and its fun.Its officially PS0's #1 code

It seems to work on enemies, but does not work with other players who dont share the code.

Don't know if this has been answered, but I can't run any cheats for Ryuusei no Rockman 3: Black Ace (J) and Chrono Trigger (J).

Those are even montioned in the Gamelist.

I'm using a R4 btw.

For those having problems with some games not showing up like Yu-Gi-Oh its due to a bug/limit in your flashcart (R4, M3 Simply, ect) and you have a few options.

I also suggest using YSMenu, a replacement firmware for the R4DS which offers better game compatibility, features and also has better cheat support. YSMenu doesn't cut off any of the cheats and displays all the cheats for all the games and don't have the problems the R4DS has with some cheats.

Thanks to Yasu, the creator of R4CCE, there is a patch for the R4DS kernel that makes the cheats work. The program is called r4bugfix2 and you can get it on Yasu's English software page here. Its easy enough to use, all you have to do is simply drop your _DS_MENU.DAT file from the R4 kernel on the r4bugfix.exe program. and it will patch it. Alternately, you can copy the file to the same folder as the r4bugfix file and click the execute. Afterwards, place the patched _DS_MENU.DAT file on your flashcart. Also, as with updating your firmware, I suggest deleting the _DS_MENU.SYS file and allow the R4DS to recreate it to prevent problems.

Did all this and still it doesn't work for me.

i doubt it didnt work for you. you must have did something wrong. i HIGHLY suggest you get YSMenu to replace that awful r4 1.18 firmware. the r4 team doesnt even support their product anymore meaning no more updates after 1.18. ysmenu on the other hand, they get updates and it fixes the cheat problem where some games dont display cheats. if you need help, PM me

I don't know if it has been answered or not but how do you enable a cheat for a game (nanostray) with CycloDS, usually it just pops up a window asking if you want to enable cheats for such and such game but it isn't doing it for all the games, only a few?

DAMN!!! We were found out!!!
We've come here only PRETENDING to have a problem because that's so much more fun than you know.. having everything work and playing games.
Not all of us like like YSMenu. Not to sound ungrateful or to badmouth the work done on it.... but compared to the "that awful r4 1.18 firmware", YSMenu feels rather incomplete and unpolished. I only used it for a short while, but it just felt so... rough.

I'd love to keep using my R4DS firmware, namely for the skin I have (things are slightly off in YSMenu), so if anyone has any solutions it'd be appreciated.

How do you change the game ID? Can it be done with a mac? Where do I find game IDs?

you rather want to look at your r4 skins than have a updated firmware? sure ysmenu doesnt look like r4's firmware but really, you arent going to use moonshell all the time or load your gba game. ysmenu goes straight to the game list and you can play straight on. you only need to use 1 skin and thats the two backgrounds. no need for the icon and title pictures =p

You can use the R4 skins on YSMenu (I used by R4 Themes on YSmenu with no problems) and you can use Moonshell on YSMenu as well.
