They couldn't delay it anymore now could they, they delayed it long enough to get the basics in.Feels Good Man said:A Gay Little Catboy said:Actually they were delaying the update in whole, they weren't just working on one thing. They only delayed it so they could have one bundled update to put in the basics for future updates to come.Feels Good Man said:A Gay Little Catboy said:So? And was delayed for three months.
The fact that it was delayed should have been sufficient time to add way more content than this. It doesn't seem like it though even when Nintendo claims that they learned from their past mistakes with the Wii and DSi shop.

I wouldn't say YEARS. The shop is an obvious step forward, and with a few improvements, it can rival PSN and XBL.Feels Good Man said:That's stupid and just making excuses for Nintendo. Especially since all of these features that were added now should have been there from the very beginning are just showing Nintendo is still YEARS behind the competition.
And I am reassured if they were added and were buggy as all hell like they would have been, you would have complained then too. Nintendo is taking their time this time around and making sure everything they add works and isn't that buggy. Nintendo has been around for over 25 years, I think they know what they are doing.Feels Good Man said:machomuu said:They didn't have to add everything yet.Feels Good Man said:A Gay Little Catboy said:Actually they were delaying the update in whole, they weren't just working on one thing. In that case the 3DS wouldn't be out yet. If I truly wanted to make excuses for them, I would, but this isn't an excuse.Feels Good Man said:machomuu said:They didn't have to add everything yet.Feels Good Man said:A Gay Little Catboy said:Actually they were delaying the update in whole, they weren't just working on one thing. Wait, what are you comparing this to again?
Besides, new content WILL be added.
I'm comparing it to my knowledge of PSN (which admittedly isn't a lot), Steam as what all DD service should be compared to, and my expectations from Nintendo's claims of being serious with online gaming.
