Gaming The E3 2008

Well, today is the big day for Nintendo because they are going to announce all their new games, hardware en probably more!

Their conference is today at 9.00 pacific times and here in Europe we'll have to wait untill 18:00!

They already announced their new expansion for the Wii Mote, which makes the Wiimote much more accurate.
Maybe today we'll finally see a harddrive for the Wii?
The announcment of a new Zelda? Probably we'll see Kid Icarus and Animal Crossing.

I can't wait!

So discuss here about what Nintendo is going to show us today.

The douche from IGN now claims that we won't see Kid Icarus.

My predictions:
Nintendo will be showcasing the new Wiimote peripheral with a few all new games.
The next Zelda will include the new device & will have some sort of DS link up & will also be a sequel to TP, Nintendo always have at least one sequel to a console Zelda (the 2 NES ones, Past/Awakening Ocarina/Majora Windwaker/Minish Cap).
Wii Music will be featured in a big way just like Wii Sports was a few years back.
Nothing new from Nintendo on the DS front but the 3rd party publishers will and that they will have the more innovative DS titles.
No new DS, I'd like to see it & I know that they usually show a new handheld every whatever years but I'm doubtful of it this time.

It may have a small screen but when I looked at G4's (online), IGN has better quality.

I expect the following:

NO new DS redesign (if it ain't broke, why fix it?)
Storage solution
Wii MotionPlus explained
Explanation of the "TP will be the last Zelda to have that style of gameplay" of the next Zelda for the Wii.
Games for the board
Pokemon Platinum explained
And something surprising (I hope)...

Wii MotionPlus explained - explained and perfectly demonstrated. Guess it's a good thing after all. Would be better if it was integrated in the Wiimote.

No new DS, I'd like to see it & I know that they usually show a new handheld every whatever years but I'm doubtful of it this time.

What about that new motion/tilt sensor device? At least they came up with a new gadget for the DS and possibly even e redesigned DS with the thing built in. I doubt I would buy it though. It sounds as innovative as the GBA Micro. Tilt/Motion? Been-there-done-that, NEXT!

Thanks for creating this thread. Cant wait to find out what the new games will be. As long as there will be a new Zelda and brand new Kid Icarus game, I'll be happy. I would like to see some more about Rygar too.

That's it, that is the big conference. Nothing much was new at all, but at least this MotionPlus thing looked like it worked well.
