The dissapointment of Mighty No.9

OK, so a new trailer that came out for Mighty No.9 last week is getting a lot of hate for making a joke that offended some anime fans. But what I'm disappointed is that, this game had a TON of delays, and it looks pretty rushed and the graphics look ok...I'm just disappointed in how over hyped this game seems to be. But I still have hope it could be fun.

The graphics are a little disappointing and the trailer seemed to be geared toward younger audiences which is probably their target audience but I thought the anime joke was funny

Yeah, the real world, with furry costumes. That's where it's at.

I thought the trailer looked bad, but I've thought the game looked bad since the beginning, which is why I didn't back it. Like with a lot of games I expect I'll download a "demo," get bored a few minutes in, and move on. No skin off of my back.

It seems like an intresting game. But a common con with this particular game is its graphics.

I don't know if it's really worth it though. I found the "dash", and "combo attacks" pretty useless (with exception of it being needed for gameplay.), and mostly what I call "simple/easy thought ideas."

Unless the game is very challengeing it may be enjoyable to a older audience (Hey I have an idea. Let's put Hardmode, and easy mode on this game .)

I didn't back the game, so I voted I don't care. The game doesn't look very good, but I do like the dashing.

People getting offended over a dumb joke about anime fans is just dumb. Get a sense of humor, and this is coming from an anime fan.

I have a massive hard-on for Megaman, but that's just it: it's a hard-on for Megaman. Like you said, this and the various other games aren't Megaman, just rip-offs. Now... if they were to announce Megaman X9... that's when I'd be interested.

I think the real question is will this game carry on megaman's torch?
With the idea of beck'a side kick, "call" obviously being = roll
Azure striker gunvolt is obviously x while copen maybe = Zero or Protoman

Either way, i plan to play them both, azure striker comes out this thursday (june 2) and mighty no.9 (june 21)

Game play is all that i care about. If it's good i will be happy, if not, i will feel disappointed in keiji inafue for this game and myself for buying it. i support him in his endavors, don't get me wrong, i just feel he should be trying to get back to making megaman games again, i always felt its rightfully his.

I'd say the graphics look just fine for the Mega Man style they're aiming for and I'll get the 3DS version when it comes out.

Mighty No. 9's trailer is shit. If that's what the final game looks like, then 4 million dollars was obviously wasted.
