I would even put a question mark at the end of that option.i did

I agree that the criticism because of that line of the trailer is just stupid, as stupid as the trailer that really lacks style, it is uncool.Racism against anime fans?
Oh, yeah. I'll politely ask you to fuck yourself. They're just a freaking growing plague, that's all.
With that I agree, I was one of the naive backers. But the too many delays, the bad PR, the stupid complaining from the fanbase on one side and the stupid answers from the company on the other side.In anyway, this game lost the appeal it had back in the beginning days of development, and the Mighty Delay No. 9 surely has had a toll on that.
Multiple delays only made consumers angry and for those that wanted to get it at launch, well... That doesn't help to promote the game.
I was going to get the game after some months from the initial launch, but seeing how many times it has been delayed, I lost interest in the game completely.
YesPeople are getting salty because they mocked anime fans. People seriously need to get off their high horses, but down their waifu pillows, and get into the real world.
I highly doubt the delays had anything to do with potential "copyright enfringements." That's something you take care of at the very beginning. And aside from using the same names for characters or moves or whatever there's not much they can do that would allow for legal battles.I just played the 1st 5 minutes of mighty no.9, loving me some old school bgm soundtracks. Game is ok. I guess most of the delays probably had to do with ensuring they weren't going to get themselves into any copyright enfringements with capcom. I hope for the best for this indie company.
Mighty No. 9 wasn't the first Megaman-inspired game/ripoff and it certainly won't be the last. If every game that looked very similar to another game resulted in a lawsuit we wouldn't have a plethora of Metroidvania and other commonly used templates. Also, easter eggs aren't necessarily copyright infringing. Inafune would be really stupid if he allowed some that did.Well, what do you expect from a side scrolling shooting game that was based off of mega man? Its the same build just different name and characters. Shit I'm sure they snuck in some easter eggs from the original mega man in there somewhere.
