Hacking The difference between standard backup releases and JTAG/RGH releases?

I've seen the Wasabi360 which looks pretty sweet, but it's a bit expensive and it's probably impossible to unban my 360 anyway, but I digress. Oh well. I heard it's possible to extract something from the NAND of another 360 though and use that to unban your console. So couldn't you do that with a cheap used phat console and use the NAND on the Slim?

afaik, there's no way to unban a 360 anymore due to security checks.

Probably won't work.

Slim might have a different KV type.

Besides you can inject the KV of another 360 but you'll have to leave the RGH wires in place.
It only works with hacked consoles since it breaks the signature of the NAND images
