Can someone tell me if there is a private 5.5.0/5.5.1 kernel exploit why not release it the owners? I just don't understand how this things goes. i'm on 5.3.2 so don't want it i'm just curious.

if you would release it at this point nintendo would make an update and fix it, it is better to wait and make an obfuscated iosu and maybe it takes a bit longer to fix the exploit

HI all

I am trying to self-host on Android phone.. I understand I need to disbale the cellular data connection (from SIM etc) but confused if i also disbale Wi-Fi?

Because when I set up my Hotspot and try to connect my Wii U to phone, it gives me the following error:

Presumably its correct because there is no internet connection on my phone (only the locally hosted files).. How do i resolve this? If i quit out of the Wizard it saves the connection but trying to connect to any IP/port just hangs.. I thought maybe my WiFi needed to be on, on my phone, but when i enable my Hotspot, it kills the wifi on my phone (so the pic of the error is obviously correct)

So i think thats pretty normal but my program Tiny Web Server Free is showing my IP as 127.0.0.1.. I cant get it to say 192.168.xxxx etc Like all the tutorials.. Is there a reason for this? I cant change the DNS to 127.0.0.1 because it isnt enough numbers.. Any ideas?

yeah....just put latest files in your selfhost folder and make a backup of the ones you use now.....then delete old files from selfhost folder....just copy old files to your desktop....

So by adding homebrew launcher to my self hosted files will magically add it to the index? I don't think it will matter for me can't get loadiine gx2 to launch via hbl

best tip i got was to clear cookies. delete save data. go back into browser. when new save data is created switch off console (from the on/off button on the wiiu controller. switch wiiu back on. go into browser and try your chosen website again. worked for me first time. after trying for days....

these ezshare cards that are available. is there any that go upto 64gb or is 32 gb the limit, and do any of you guys use the adaptor type of card with your own sdhc card. how do these perform. in your experience. thank you.....

The Homebrew Launcher is going to eventually replace the index.html, when all the apps/hacks are made as ELF files. It would be pretty redundant to load this index.html menu, choose the Homebrew Launcher, and then choose your app/hack.

i take it the ultimate goal will be to have a homebrew channel in the wiiu menu same as the wii......wd be a lot quicker (less steps to go through) and of course much better looking....i guess, cant be far off now....

heres hoping.....just to move things along a bit....its been great to get the homebrew launcher and ftpiiu and the gameboy advance emulator, but we seem to be stuck in the same place for a long long long time.....

Just bought the Best Buy Exclusive Splatoon bundle I seen on the "Bundles that have 5.3.2 or lower section"! Hopefully it actually comes on 5.3.2, because I bought it on the Best Buy site I can't check the serial.

thinl you will find that its 3.0.1. if its the disc pack????.....just update with the splatoon disc and you will be good to go. that will take you to 5.3.2.

Hey guys, I have managed to self host and browse the www folder on the Wii U, when I try and load a payload532 (Im on 5.3.2) it just freezes.. Any tips?
