i did, but i have some other questions.

do you have to run the kernel exploit/os driver or can you use one of the loadiine's kernels instead? because loadiine's worked for me but whenever i try loading the kernel exploit via mongoose it's just white page or i try to load using it on a hosted website it just freezes black and i have to hold the power button in to turn off i know you posted to keep trying until it works with the black screen so i may try that until it works or i get tired of doing so... regardless it's an annoying way to get the exploit working but i know there's no other way atm. but if not, what happens if i install loadiine's kernel first?

does doing a complete reset of the wiiu get rid of all the kernels? or are they permanently on the console?

a microsd card with adapter is compatible with loadiine? seems so from search but no 100% sure.

I'm using the Tubehax DNS and it has indeed blocked the 5.5.1 update. Im on 5.5.0.

The problem is, now I can't access the eShop, and worse, I can't play Xenoblade online because it's asking me to update the game to the 1.2 version.

Do we have a solution for this kind of problem?

The exploits are not permanent, hence why you have to run it every time you power on the console.

I'm not sure if there were any changes made in the Loadiine Kernel or if it was just packaged with GX2. You can try running Loadiine GX2 for the kernel (1st time) and then launching a different hack to see if it works. Nothing bad can come from it.

MicroSD is fine, that's what I'm using. :)

You're going to have to give me a little more than that. Why can't you? What exactly have you tried? What's not working and how do you know?

Guys... Hi ! ....

I've been lost a couple of week. The main page says DefinitivePackage updated. What that does mean? ...

Scroll down to "USING HACKS" and under "Can you just give me one download package with everything in it?" there is the DefinitivePackage with everything in it. :P

General question: Can anyone confirm if using the "5.3.2" Kernel Exploit and hacks works on 5.4.0 exactly as is (AKA using the DefinitivePackage on 5.4.0)?

Hey guys I'm going pretty crazy here with getting the exploit running (5.3.2). I've managed once only and haven't had any luck since :( Pretty much every attempt pixelates or locks up.
I've tried the suggestions from the first post so I thought i'd put this out there for any help or suggestions.

I'm hosting the "definitive package" on my local Ubuntu 14.04 webserver. Basically it's locking up each attempt. My Wii U is only a week old and I feel that the power button is taking a hammering with me resetting so often. After mucking around for several hours and getting the kernel exploit successful, it then freezes loading loadiine. Like I mentioned, I have had loadiine gx2 work once and my game loaded fine.
I've been at this for 5 hours and am calling it quits (gamepad ran outta battery!). Anyone else experiencing this?

Ok, I have been out of the Wii U hacking loop for a while and am confused by two dates in the OP:

01/19/16: Hykem's IOSU Exploit for 2.0.0 to 5.5.1 expected before March. Stay on whatever FW you are on for now and use TubeHax DNS to block updates!
01/15/16: Userland exploit working for 5.4.0, 5.5.0, and 5.5.1. Kernel exploit still private for everything but 5.4.0.

Does Userland's exploit mean loadiine now works on a 5.5.x Wii U ? If not will Hyken's exploit mean loadiine will work on a 5.5.x ?

Or is there no hope at all, for the foreseeable future, of loadiine (or loadiine GX2) running on the latest firmware ?

Userland means basic homebrew. Loadiine is kernel level and there currently isn't a released 5.5.x exploit released. As far as I know there is one though that will be used for the iosu entry point, whenever that will be released. Sit tight for now :)

Once it works the first time (or once you see Race Attack Failed) you shouldn't have many issues after. If it's just pixelated/frozen, there's nothing to do but keep trying the tips: clear data/cookies, 4 tabs, soft reset, etc. Once you get it working, I think clearing data will reset you back to square 1 and you'd have to go through all of these attempts again, so try to avoid that.

How do I check which update from a game disk if I already on 5.5.1?

Let me explain the situation: I buying the B2GOFREE preowned from BestBuy. Pick 2 games my nephews want, but can't think of the third game. So thinking pick up another Super Smash Bros which ideally has 5.3.2 update (in case I can help someone else to update to master race 5.3.2) and sell my current copy with 5.4 update. Only few available at my Best Buy store and the serial numbers at the bottom of disc are different from the 3 listed on the OP. Knowing Best Buy accepts trade in without case, so checking the case seem to irrelevant in this scenario.

See a couple couple copies with
Disc Bottom: WUP-P-AXFE 04 USA S0

One has Case with artwork: WUP P AXFE USZ 101986A Made in Japan

The other one has generic Best Buy case.

From the OP:

Original:
Case: WUP P AXFE USZ 83664A Made in USA
Disc Top: WUP-P-AXFE-USA-0 Model No. WUP-006 (USA)
Disc Bottom: WUP-P-AXFE 00 USA S0
Firmware: 5.2.0
Reprint #1:
Case: WUP P AXFE USZ 101842A Made in USA
Disc Top: WUP-P-AXFE-USA-0 Model No. WUP-006 (USA)
Disc Bottom: WUP-P-AXFE 02 USA S0
Firmware: ??? (5.3.0, 5.3.1, or 5.3.2)
Reprint #2: (Confirmed by bt04, Wii Enthusiast, and BALLIN)
Case: WUP P AXFE USZ 101986A Made in Japan
Disc Top: WUP-P-AXFE-USA-0 Model No. WUP-006 (USA)
Disc Bottom: WUP-P-AXFE 04 JPN S0
Firmware: 5.4.0
04 USA will still probably be 5.4.0. Maybe there was a typo/assumption before and the listed one is supposed to be JPN.

My point is the disc bottom of the 2 I see here is not those 3 listed in the OP. 1 case matches the reprint#2.

Question is: is there any way to check if I boot it using 5.5.1 Wii U (have nothing to fear anymore)?

Edit: We already had the reprint #2 having exact same numbers on case and game disc as reported on OP.

No, there's no way to internally check the disc update at this time. Probably will be feasible with the IOSU Exploit though.

Thanks for the encouragement! I will have another shot at this today and with a bit of luck get it working. Will let you know how I go.

Best advice on the Pixelation, Delete Browser data ( Cookies/passwords/Reset and then power down console via gamepad power button.) from my experience the pixelation (to me) means I need to reset. and it usually works 1-3 tries after resetting.

OR.
if you're locally hosting, make sure your WiiU is close enough to the router, I was getting non-stop freezes/pixelation, my router is downstairs, I get about 1 of 3 bars up in the room with the WiiU, mainly because the WiiU can only use 2.4Ghz, I have a wireless house phone, bluetooth, other Signal/wireless devices. so no matter what it was rarely ever working. Till I grabbed a WiFi dongle and setup up hosted network on windows, now I can run Loadiine in 1-2 tries, lately it works on the first try. (PC is in the same room as WiiU)

On to My question:
Cant seem to follow the instructions to getting TCPGecko to work, mainly want pyGecko for the Xenoblade Trainer.
Do these hacks not work if you dont have Disc/Smash?
I dont have Smash so all I use to play is Mii Maker mode..

EDIT: Just noticed theres a pyGecko folder in the DefPackage, how do I use it? if my above question's answer is "yes mii maker works, heres how..."

How are you hosting it? I had only trouble hosting it on the PC. I tried a lot of times and only got those black screesn with random white pixels.
I think it's something about my router being weird.

It started working fine when I used a phone or ez Share Wi-fi SD adapter.
