QUOTE said:
May 1, 2009 - The 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo has ditched its lower-key approach from previous years and is supposed to put the "big" back into the "big show" once again. Scheduled to run from June 2-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, E3 2009 showcases several of the year's hottest games from the industry's most powerful publishers and developers.

As always, we're kicking off our E3 coverage for the year with a list of every announced videogame that has been "officially confirmed." Just remember not to go crazy if your most anticipated title isn't on the list -- after all, E3 is known for its surprises and secrets, not every company is going to let us know everything ahead of time. That means that our list will by no means be complete until the show starts. Regardless, this page will continue to be updated immediately whenever we can confirm additional titles.

Well as always there will be some titles not listed. Nintendo of America will be showing something that they've yet to announce to the press soon but that wont be made public until E3.

Knowing them it'll either be something Nintendo of Japan have already announced or WiiSleep that is for insomniacs but doesn't actually help them much. Wait a minute wasn't that the purpose of WiiPlay/Wii Music?

A lot of companies keep their cards close to their chest so they have something to surprise us with at E3. Think about how much less exitement there would be if the anounced Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pikmin 3 and Kid Icarus prior to the conference. They would have nothing left.

Not much to offer yet but the new Jak and Daxter and Fat Princess seems to be good games to look out for. What's Singstar doing in E3 that's shovelware unworthy of such an epic event.

Well they've already released the teaser trailer with the release date of November 09'. Plus the first Modern Warfare was so great, maybe they assume people know it will be good so they're spending their time hyping up other games.

*Looking forward to that game so much though*

EDIT: Glad Jak and Daxter is finally being mentioned, its been forever filled with rumors.

On a side note- Sony's lineup looks great.

I hope E3 has a topic about the Nintendo Points cards for the DSi since I'm really wanting word about them since there are games that cost well over 1000 Nintendo Points in the DSi shop and I may need an extra 1000+ points just in case of the good stuff being released as DSiware in the future.

I'm looking forward to some hands-on reports like from Grand Slam Tennis (Wii Motion Plus!) and The Conduit (multiplayer)
The E3 is always one of my favourite periodes of the year, just to see what the game developers have in store

The main thing that caught my eye was the lack of NDS-exclusive titles. Not even any listed as DSi specific. I'm guessing this is mainly because these are only the titles that we know about for sure?

Nintendo likes to hide their stuff until E3 most of the time.
I do hope to see a DSi specific game though.

HERES WHAT CAPCOM ARE BRINGING TO E3

131114-ryuwolvie.jpg

Capcom has a bunch of games to show off at their 5,000 sq.ft. booth at E3 this year. Here's what they got cookin':

* Dark Void (PS3, 360, PC)
* Lost Planet 2 (currently 360, PC)
* Dead Rising 2 (will be "behind closed doors")
* Spyborgs (Wii)
* Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles (Wii)
* Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (PSP)
* Marvel vs Capcom 2 (digital release for PS3, 360)
* Fate Unlimited Codes (digital PSP release)
* Street Fighter IV (PC)
* Bionic Commando (PC)
* Mega Man Star Force 3 (DS)
* Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil (Wii)
* Capcom Mystery Game #1 (playable in booth!)
* Capcom Mystery Game #2 (announced at a press conference!)

Obviously, the thing to note here is that Capcom has two unannounced games that they're going to be revealing at E3. What could they be? WHAT EVER COULD THEY BE?!

Capcom is also going to be inviting people to their booth at E3. Just keep an eye out over on Capcom-Unity in the coming weeks to see how you can get yourself into E3. Actually, just pay attention to Capcom-Unity in general. You could be at Capcom right now testing out some new game and eating $300 worth of cookies.
