Maybe The 3rd Birthday means to the 3rd reactivation-cellular-mitochondria-story thing. Sorry no better way to explain this as i played the original on PSone. And that was a long long time ago and in a galaxy far far away...

Yeah I know! Maybe because it's about her cellular structure that has enabled her to make use of other people's cells and manifest herself onto the host's body. Thus "Parasite Eve".
