Hi, I´m a "new poster"

I read a lot of forums but I only post in the forum of ELOTROLADO.NET because is a spanish forum and my english isn´t good.

Somebody has post that the problem is with the flash chip in the back of the SuperCard. Mine starts with CB and the upgrade only works in chips than stars with MX.

No, you're right. I just signed up about a month ago to secretly wait until the new firmware was out and spread rumors that it breaks cards. I'll be waiting in line for an apology when it's confirmed.

I've got a true mini sd supercard, the 1.63 block the card, my chip is a CB one and now, well, i'm fucked. how nice. Doesn't it seem natural that i'm looking evreywhere for a way to play my NDS?
If anyone has a clue...
But I think we'll have to wait a supercard team upgrade, it means when the problem will be taken seriously and when we (people with problem) won't be treated as fake or flooders.

From what i read until now the problem is only for miniSd with a CB chip.

Don't you get it yet? The guys were lying bastards!!! They were over at the SCDEV.ORG board doing the same thing/ Dont know y they wanna smear the SC's name. I upgraded my SCCF just fine this morning and so have MANY other users.

Mine has the MX chip, bought from winsunx, though I havn't updated to 1.63 yet.

Just out of curiosity, what does the 1.63 update actually do that the 1.62 doesn't? The new (v2.55) patching software fixes starfox command and works fine with the 1.62 firmware.

I believe the new firmware tries to change the hardware and only MX chips can be reconfigured. So since the CB chip can't be reconfigured it freezes, possibly frying it altogether. That's just my 2 cents so don't go quoting me.

Old Firmware Version: 1.61
New Firmware Version: 1.63

Upgraded just fine. Upgraded in GBA mode because that's what I've always done. BTW MX chip.
