Gaming Text in some pokemon rom hacks has strange blue bars

I injected both Pokemon Gaia and Pokemon radical red as Cias. When I opened the game after installing them I came up with these errors. What did I do wrong and is there any way to fix it? (Example image is from radical red)

Pokemon romhacks made into GBA VC injections may not render correctly or play at all.

Try switching over to open_agb_firm, mGBA, TWiLight Menu++ (GBARunner2), or RetroArch (gpSP core).
