Elon Musk's Tesla is acquiring 1.5 billion USD worth of BTC. That is around 35k coins or 1/500 of all btc ever mined.

Tesla will also start accepted btc as payment for its vehicles. The only major automaker to do so.

As of this writing btc has jumped some 15% today.

Do you guy think this is a good idea? How will the adoption of btc by one of the world's most profitable companies affect the acceptance of cryptocurrency? Do any of you plan on buying in?
